1. Put two pieces of a foam strips about 3" x 5" x 1/4 thick on both ends of the fall board to secure it tight, prevent from rubbing the finishing. 2. Use a support (leg substitute) couple inches longer than a piano leg to hold a piano while you removing first (left) front leg. 3. If you have a piano skid board you don't have to remove a music rack and lid. Just make sure the lead will be outside the skid board while you flipping a piano on its side. 4. The furniture dolly is not suited for moving a pianos. 5. It's a two man job. 6. Always mark legs with a marker: L, R, B. (Left, Right and Back). Also mark a pedal mounting screws, they could be different in length then leg screws. 7. Put all the pedal and leg screws, washers, etc. into the ZIP bag, you never will lose them. 8. It's convenient to put legs into the large suitcase on wheels, use old towels to keep them from rubbing each other, and just roll them in the suitcase. Also you can put pedal brackets, supports and rods into the suitcase, and you never will lose them.

Anyone who’s actually moves a grand piano before wouldn’t be shitting on these guys like most of these comments. That was done professionally, with ease, and with only two people for the love too! I dig the specialty equipment. For anyone thinking that equipment slows them down, it really doesn’t fucking matter because that is what will get them the high dollar moves. I bet they charged anywhere from 600-1000 for that move depending on where the destination was.

Wooowwwwww that a lot of steps and things to do for one piano. We can come in and grab that 9 in about 15 min and be gone without putting a scratch, nick, ding, or a scuff on it. And we are probably 500 dollars cheaper. I can see you moving artist pianos like this if they do not have a breed case but not a any ole joe piano.

theres no deceit here, we do see piano MOVERS, but i was hoping to see them actually move the piano - they just packed it up...

1. It is very important to wear a white gloves for moving a pianos. 2. I don't think this custom dolly is practical for baby grand movings. The dolly with casters will pull piano to the side on slopes, very hard to control a heavy piano, unless you moving always on the perfect leveled ground.

Stuffing pads into a piano that have been walked on, or even on a floor, is not nice.
