Driven this many times!! Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just had a press conference a few days ago announcing that FLDOT will be RECONSTRUCTING the Golden Glades Interchange where the Turnpike and Palmetto (FL826) meet I-95. Stated it will be the most expensive single project in FLDOT history. (KZfaq doesn’t allow links, sorry) Insightful, for anyone who’s had to navigate 826 or 441 onto I-95 or the Turnpike. @@tameikabrownunknown. But probably several years! FLDOT usually produces videos of their major projects with “flyover” views while explaining upgrades,etc. I haven’t looked. Announcement video is on ForbesBreakingNews KZfaq channel on Florida Toll Relief.

Aw too bad he went through i-95. They've recently finished a multi-year expansion of the turnpike after the golden glades, the roads are new and wide with express lanes including flyovers. It's nice and smooth.

Yea i really did wanna see that part of The Turnpike, kinda worry how it will affect traffic with the addition of some new exits though.

The greater hazard here might be the one coming from behind at Warp 7 on the shoulder. Just once, to have that anal retentive meet up with a state trooper. You're puddling along and, whoops, there's no I-95. And there's a stoplight. WTF? But at least US 1 takes you to the Keys. Not so bad.
