Florida State Baseball and Florida Baseball played a midweek game in the 2024 College Baseball Season.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a KZfaqr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other KZfaqrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

The NCAA doesn't control rankings. Rankings are voted on by baseball writers

imma gator fan and you have to rank fsu and drop Florida, I can’t keep watching our defense and pitching lose us games and having the games be close only because of our offense. You can’t be a team ranked nationally high and produce errors and have pitchers who don’t compete as well as their opposing pitchers , that’s just not how it works. What everyone sees is what we could be when Cags gets on the mound and competes pitch after pitch vs some of the other who haven’t. Watch the difference in how we play. FSU deserves it

Well said. Honestly surprised we've won as many games as we have being so reliant on the offense because in those games our errors/pitching was still subpar.

Butler Jacksonville Western carolina South Florida Western Michigan New Orleans Florida Gulf coast Illinois Not one ranked team other than the Florida win. And you're telling me they need to be ranked? Florida states schedule isn't really that tough. Don't think there's one ranked team, other than Florida, that they'll play this year. But you look at Florida's schedule who has about 50% of their schedule against ranked teams Texas a&m LSU Vanderbilt Arkansas Tennessee South carolina (not ranked but 14-3) Georgia (not ranked but 17-0) Kentucky (not ranked but 14-3) Sec has some of the best baseball in the country. It's a disgustingly hard conference for baseball So yes, Florida should be ranked for the schedule they have to go against. But it looks like they'll be dropping after that fsu loss

@@philippcyr7706all I was doing is pointing out that it’s Florida State who are undefeated and not Florida because your original comment made it seem like Florida is the one with bad pitching and was 15-0 which isn’t the case. I agree that’s there’s a big difference in schedule. I was just simply pointing out Florida has bad pitching and Florida State is undefeated.

n yeah Florida pitching is young and kinda trash but they still have a solid lineup at bat...caglione shelton n cade are tough. They are a fringe top 20 team but will still win their share of games. Wouldn't be surprised to see em bounce back vs A&M honestly...i have not seen A&M though. 🤔

Just reverse the rankings from this game and everything is probably correct. Florida has a TON of talent but they don’t hustle and are inconsistent. This might be the scrappiest FSU team I’ve ever seen. When I say that, no superstars positionally(maybe smith), but solid all the way down the lineup. We seem to fight every at bat, love it.

As a Gators fan I agree. Y’all played way harder than us and are a much more complete team. I think the Gators expected this year to be easy just because they were 1 win away from winning it all last year.

Notes....FSUs top 3 weekend starters did not pitch FSUs 1-9 is as good as there is in the country....balanced ...get one guy out n the next is dangerous Bullpen showed a lil bit more finally. we saw what Link did for Notre Dame he turned that program into something it wasn't in 20+ years...n went n beat that Tenn team @Tenn to head to Omaha. Grateful he is a Nole as a player and coach and a fun fact i didnt know is he is the ncaa record holder for assists at ss 😮

Yea my 3rd time now commenting on how Florida has been the most overrated team all year. Closing out games matters. Not having to score 8 or 9 runs to even have a chance to get a win matters. Not throwing to the right bases, not playing sound defense matters. Stop looking at the brand and look at the quality of the product ON THE FIELD. Regardless if Florida wins this upcoming weekend they haven't played like a top 10 team all season. Get them out of the top 10. And no im not a fan of any other specific SEC team, I'm just an ex college player who wants the rankings to be as sound as possible 🙏

Florida state has as good of team as Florida gators and should be ranked look at South Carolina and like auburn and ole miss it’s crazy makes no sense to me but I am dumb LSU fan
