Florida Travel Day - May 2023 (Flying with Tui, Rosen Inn International Room Tour and UOAP!)

Hello again!
We planned a super last minute holiday to Florida and are so exited to share the videos with you! We flew via Tui to Melbourne, hired a car and drove into Orlando for our stay at the Rosen Inn International. We also managed to make it into Universal Studios before closing and purchased our annual passes!

yall are such a fun couple. Having a spirit like this at such a young age bodes well for the future. In the future consider staying at Rosen Inn at Pointe (exact same room but more to walk to). I love how you all planned to eat Chick Filet for dinner and sure enough 14 hours later there you were, eating at chick filet.... I haven't seen the other videos yet but I'm interested to see if yall ever eat at the Rosen breakfast buffet. One thing I'll mention..... at the service plaza hash browns were consumed without ketchup.... it's blasphemy to eat McDonald's hash browns without ketchup!

Thank you so much that's so kind of you to say! We have stays booked at 2 different Rosen Inn's in future, I think Pointe might be one of them! We will have to try the hash browns with ketchup next time! - Megan

Can’t get more American eating fast food in Jeep I love it , that jeep great for Daytona beach hood off , first time see anyone hire that car really cool ice box in back way to go 🥰🥰

Thank you so much! We originally booked a Midsize SUV but we got a free upgrade at the car hire desk. So the Jeep is a Standard pick up. How exciting! We hope you have a great time! x

How much was it for the passes? Hope you enjoyed! Did TUI not offer a transfer or did you just opt for the car? 😀

Hi! We brought 2 different passes the power pass and the preferred pass (they came to around $1,200 after tax) Yes Tui have coach transfers we just opt for the car 😄 We had an amazing time thank you ❤️

How was the Rosen inn? We have booked it for May2024 and are worried about the reviews

We enjoyed our stay there. It had everything we needed (the microwave is a bonus!) it was clean and stocked daily, the air con was very good and the beds were comfy. We are trying 2 different Rosen hotels in September so it didn't put us off using them - Megan

I am unsure what to take to use for money, a prepaid travel card & cash, but not sure of who is best, do you have any recommendations. Thank you. Also do you buy Universal & Disney tickets here or in the US?

I have used a prepaid travel card before that worked well. We have also used our Monzo cards we tend to stick to card payments with a provider that doesn't charge you for using your card. Cash is always handy for tips etc. We always buy Disney tickets via the Walt Disney travel company and universal has been through attraction tickets or in person on the gate - Megan

Hi, can you bring food items back to the UK ? I would love to get some Miracle whip mayonnaise :) wasn't sure if its allowed.

Hi! You can't bring back meat, certain dairy & egg products it is best to check the government guidelines. I don't think mayonnaise is allowed. But you can bring back things like sweets and chocolates etc. - Megan

Of course. We paid £277 for the 7 days, we booked with Alamo through the auto Europe website. We had originally paid for an intermediate SUV but when we got to the airport they offered us a free upgrade to the Jeep. Hope this helps - Adam

great video. So masks are not required on board. I still wear mine lol. Was virgin atlantic strict with checked baggage weight.

Thank you, no masks are not required anymore. When we flew with Virgin Atlantic back in January had more than enough weight allowance for our bags but opted to take a 3rd case. This trip we flew with TUI and you have to pay for checked baggage as it's not included
