To balance Africa I would suggest adding a 1 or 2 territory Ethoipia, whom would balance Dutch British and Ottoman interests in the region out.

You should also make a video on world diplomacy, whihc is inspired from it and has a even bigger map with 24 players and hundreds on centres!

You're not the first to suggest that... and in time, perhaps I will. It certainly seems to be a popular idea among people who are playing or have played the variant.

Quick reply, because capybaras are very mobile, moving at a top speed of about 22 MPH.

I think it ended up being pretty cool because of the scale of the thing. Definitely the largest-scale Diplomacy map I've ever seen. To make a bigger one, someone might need to make an outer space variant with interactions between Earth nations and space colonies...
