Welcome to FlossTube Professor Sligh! I am humbled by your life's academic journey as my sister and I being the first generation of college graduates. I look forward to enjoying this craft with you and perhaps learning more about it and the needle arts even though I have done some form of needlework for five decades. Take care and stay well from a fellow stitcher in Chicagoland with lots of family in Florida.

I’m very curious to hear about your stories and experiences with customers in your needlework store. My handwork teacher at primary school was a man and learned us about cross stitching, lace bobbin etc. Not everybody enjoyed it as much as I did, but will never forget how special it actually was. I would like to see more of you. Have a nice day!👋🏻

Glad I was able to join you by watching your first video. My parents never had time for crafts as they were farmers with five kids(3 of us still farming). I wish I had something handmade by my mother but she did not have time. So I have my memories of helping her with the daily chores. Haha when she could find me, I was alway outside. I will be looking forward to watching your channel.

I just found your channel that popped up and your overview of hoops and frames caught my attention. It was a very interesting video. I am glad I found it. Then I watched your first video. I like how you related doing things with your hands to calm some, work through grief, etc. I have always loved handmade things although I only do cross stitch. I don’t do it everyday but I always have something right by me to work on when I can. My 10 year old grandson decided he wanted to learn crochet and picked it up right away. I can’t believe the things he has made so far, although I am not sure if his classmates think boys do this kind of craft. His grandfather is an artist. He paints. He is great in gymnastics and is a whiz in math. Your video inspired me. Thank you so much. I will watch more of them.

Thanks for your interest. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. Encourage your grandson any way possible. My youngest son was in the United States Army and is an excellent crocheter. Boys often love making things with their hands!

It is wonderful to have an item that was handmade special for you and then be able to pass that down to your children. I was taught embroidery by my "Ouma" who did the most amazing embroidery and beading on wedding dresses. So when I pick up a project, it is like she is still with me.

Your videos are going to be interesting with your history. Did I understand you to say you went from being a pastor to being a Wizard in witchcraft though or am I misunderstanding?
