Hello from California! Thanks so much for sharing your stitchy knowledge. Though I learned needlework 50 years ago (I’m 57), there’s still so much to know, and many of your tips & tricks were really helpful. Looking forward to your other videos! ❤ ~Elizabeth

I liked your first video. So many ideas for all stitchers. I store my patterns in binders also. I group them in holiday, season, floral etc. I find it easier. I also store my magazines in binders. Annies has holders just for magazines - with holes to fit the binders. I use all of your tips except the tubes to put on the end of scissors. I have some and don't know why I never thought of that. I'm sure everyone takes at least 1 idea from you. Thank you so much.

Enjoyed your video.. Especially the Man & Wife stitch that you have framed to your right behind you. I have had that chart since 1989 - 90 and have not stitch it yet. Seeing it made me go dig it out started planning. Thanks.

You are quite handy and love your suggestions! I too make my own needlemimders. Once I bought one, I felt totally ripped off so made my own. Stealing your idea about the tubing for scissors. A friend gave me a handful of things that are meant to go on knitting needles. Your idea is better. Cheaper and you aren’t heartbroken if you lose it! 💜

I have that Abe Lincoln stitched and he proudly hangs on my wall with several other Lincoln memorabilia. Just love that pattern. And then you pulled out your melon green fabric for a spooky pattern from the cross stitch magazine, that pattern was designed by the owners of my LNS, Amy and Memory Baker here in Myrtle Beach, SC! Great first video, happy stitching💚

I don’t have any organizational tips for you! I live in chaos, too. I do purge whenever I’m going to a retreat where there’s a free table. I went on a major bender this past weekend and have a stack of patterns 6 to 8 inches high (or maybe 10-12 inches high) to take to an upcoming event. Years and years of stuff that I can now say, with certainty, I’m never going to stitch. I see, behind you, a piece that I stitched and framed years ago…27 to be exact…. It’s the one with the husband and wife walking in the leaves. I love seeing that one on the wall. Pam

You are sure relaxed for a first Flosstube! Way to go! Great finishing ideas and storage ideas. I kept looking at the long stitch on the floor leaned up against a larger piece. I stitched that wedding chart of the man and woman walking together for my daughter and her husband…Sadly the marriage did not last. The finished piece was professionally framed and cost a pretty penny so I got the piece back from my daughter thinking I might at least reuse the frame, but that never happened, sonit ended up at a thrift store in Northern New Brunswick where I lived. Tell me you didnt buy that a Thrift store… that would just be too bizarre!

Wonderful and unique floss tube! I love the way you did hints, tips, and finishes sprinkled throughout. I started doing embroidery and stamped cross stitch when I was about 7, started doing counted when I was about 20 and have been stitching ever since. I have a tip for you that is in a round-about way related to stitching...don't fall after you reach the age of 65. I tripped over my then nearly 2-year-old grandson in August and fractured L1, then fell while pushing the same grandson on the swing 3 weeks ago and fractured 2 of the long bones in my dominant hand so am now in a cast with my 4th and 5th fingers casted up to midarm and it has affected my stitching more than I had anticipated since I have to do most of my stitching with my opposite hand, which is really slow going. I love your crafting area and hope you find your Q snap tubes soon! Thank you so much for your fresh perspective on a floss tube.

Thank you! Look for a stuntman course! Being out of commission with a break is awful😢you need to learn how to roll. While you’re healing there are a few apps/games to do cross stitch on your iPad. Hi from VA👋 Your first floss tube was fantastic & I cannot wait to see what’s coming next! I learned so much in this video & definitely going to copycat some of your ideas 😉 My oldest daughter bought her first home last fall & I decided to make her room a guest/craft room. It’s sill a work in progress, so I love to hear/see how others organize. I think yours looks like such a fun crafting play room & a place to be inspired. I’ve been using crates & baskets to organize everything in there on built in book cases. What a great first floss tube video. I really enjoyed it. One of the ways I store my charts is in a 3- ring binder in protector sleeves, like you do. Others are in clear storage boxes. I'm starting to try to frame my finished pieces, because it is just too expensive to have it done. I try to finish things not in frames for that reason.Your craft room is so nice! Love the basket lids you cross stitched. Very creative. I'm looking forward to watching you again!

When you get your hand braces don’t wear them tight. It’s not the compression that helps just the position of your hand. Don’t need to cut off your circulation and have a new problem. My old braces I could slip on and off without fussing with the Velcro.

Hi! I am a returning cross stitcher after doing more scrapbooking & paper crafts for the last 20 years. Thank goodness I did not get rid of my collection! I’m loving how fun this craft is now, with Flosstube & retreats. So many beautiful patterns, fabric & floss. I just discovered your FT & I love it! So many good tips & tricks. Love your craft room! It looks a lot like mine used to in the house. We live on a farm in Iowa & my husband repurposed my dad’s old 1945 machine shed into an 800 sq.ft. craft heaven complete with a kitchen, bathroom & an upstairs sleeping loft for grandkids. He just wanted all my stuff out of the house & now I’m filling it up again with cross stitch! It’s just as addictive as scrapbooking! I think you & I would get along great, I enjoy your laid back personality & your room speaks to me. Where in the north woods are you located? I live in northern Iowa & my fave stitch shop is in Blue Earth, MN. Looking forward to watching more of your FT. Take care!

I'd like to search for the pockets your husband found on Amazon. Do you happen to still have the information. I want to label some totes for storage and those are great!! I'm enjoying your first flosstube. Your voice is pleasing and you have lots of great ideas!! I'll recommend to others who have flosstube!! Love the winter prairie schooler!! Just bought my first prairie schooler sampler on stash unload! Thank you and when you are ready I'd love a tour of your craft room!! Congrats on your first and hopefully many more!!!

I love your floss tube. So glad I found it. You had so many good ideas and tips that I will certainly try. One was the hand braces I have arthritis in my fingers and will give this a try.

I bought from Amazon the fabric covered boxes- large- and store my charts in them by designer. I lay them on their side in a I add expandable file. I then stand up a comic book card from Amazon and print a label for the top. When I take off the box top I can immediately see what's in the box. I also printed out a list for contents and storage in a top loading sheet protector. Each fabric covered box comes with a label area in the front, which I number. The box number is on the contents sheet. For me it helped store my hundreds of charts

The boxes are Comix collapsible storage cube- large, the comic book boards are 500 per package I think and both are on Amazon! The boxes come in a few color choices. They are heavy duty, and they can stack.
