Hope the past 3 weeks have been good to you! In today's video I share what cross stitch I have been working on...unfortunately the quilting segment is absent. I just haven't had any time to work on my quilting projects. I do hope to return to them soon!

Hi Olivia. So happy for your family on the upcoming graduation. Enjoy this special time! Please do not feel the need to apologize for lack of content...you will always have something to share, such as the beautiful aurora photos at the beginning of your video. It is just nice to see your smiling face and your beautiful stitching, whenever you have the time to create a flosstube.

I liked the picture of your wall. We were married a bit longer ago but also in November-11/20/66. Your stitching (and quilting) is always so beautiful. I wish I had found these hobbies when I was young! Be calm during these next few weeks & enjoy this Celebration. Then take a deep breath & relax when it's over!

It is always a pleasure seeing you and your beautiful projects. No need to apologize, you do what you can do and that is the way it should be. Family and life come first! You have inspired me to get Casting a Spell out and complete it. I've had all the supplies and box for quite some time! So thank you for that!! I also have had summer jubilee kitted and ready to go for quite awhile. I have Slate by Fabrics by Stephanie to stitch it on. It is a faded navy blue color. It does look beautiful on the tin roof. Wishing you the best making the decision to finish or restart. See you next time!

Graduation season is so busy! Ours finished up yesterday. I haven't stitched or sewn in a few weeks. Hang in there! Congratulations to your son. Christmas At Hollyberry Farm is so pretty!

I always love when I get the notification that you have a new video... everytime someone says a child is graduating, the song You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins flashes through my mind... I am grateful you took the time on Saturday... all I have to say is, everyone is right when you meet one of your favorite Flosstubers, every coherent thought leaves your mind and all that comes out is a rush of everything & nothing all at the same time! Your stitching & finishes are always wonderful. Enjoy this time in your life, it will slow down before you know it!

Thanks for sharing your stitching, and don't worry about not having 'content,' your pieces are beautiful no matter what. When you're working and have kids at home, too, it's necessary to be kind to yourself. On Summer Jubilee, could you use one strand and back stitch on the alphabet? It would be subtle but might make the letters stand out a little more.

Thanks for video - the finish was beautiful - congrats to your sons graduation- have a great couple of weeks - lakeside linen - you can place order at traditional stitches in Canada - if they don’t have it in stock they backorder it and ship and bill you when it comes in - you may have to wait a few or several months but I have always gotten what I ordered

I enjoy your videos, both the stitching and the quilting. I stitched Summer Jubilee last year. I did use the called for fabric and threads. But it looks very washed out and not at all bright and cheery like the photo. I would suggest using the fabric you have but using brighter threads as the colors have changed since this was written. It is a beautiful chart and one to do.

About Summer Jubilee, before you pick it all out try going over the top stitch with the brighter thread, just the top stitch! See what a difference it makes…or back stitch the letters with a medium brown and they will stand out. Just try one to see if you like it. I have done this many times. There is no need to apologize,we all have a life outside our hobbies. Congratulations on your son gratis June. Having a job and all the summer activities get to be pretty busy season,we are not inside to Sriracha or sew like fall and winter. ❤❤❤ all your beautiful stitching. Great video! I want to stitch the blackbird design. I think I will stitch mine on a navy linen, and substitute the flosses as needed. It’s a beautiful piece, you should restart if that’s what your heart is telling you.

You can still get the called for linen 18th Century Blackbird for Summer Jubilee. I order 36 count a couple months ago and I’m going to start mine this week. But honestly your husband is probably right… you have a lot done.

About you Blackbird piece. … what would happen if you mounted it on a dark board. Would the letters pop more?? I like the ghosting effect myself but if you have doubts, lay it on something dark and see!!! Love your videos and positive sweet spirit!!!!
