Happy retirement! Loved your WIP parade. Lots of great stitching. I belong to my local chapter of EGA, and really enjoy it. We're a small chapter, hold member taught classes, and have an ongoing project supporting our local Hospice. I've met many wonderful people, and had the opportunity to try things I wouldn't have done otherwise. So go for it!

You sound like you are totally enjoying your retirement!! The Garden Box is going to be so cute when it is finished!! And your Cardinal Points - what beautiful stitching! It was 109 here yesterday. I just think that makes it a good time to stay in and stitch! Thanks for letting us know what you are reading! The Women is so good and when I read it I had a hard time putting it down!! Wow! Thank you! That is so nice of you. =) It's going well. Heck, I"m even FFOing an under the bed box piece this afternoon. THAT would never happen on a Monday before retirement. I think I like this! =)

Thank you! It's been so much fun.... except for all the house cleaning. It's amazing/sad what you notice when you slow down a bit. Who knew there could be so much dust in one little house? =)

We retired 3 years ago. I know never know what day it is…it took a couple years. Cardinal Points is gorgeous. Harbor Haven is phenomenal.

Congratulations on your retirement! Enjoyed seeing the great progress on Cardinal Points and all the WIPs . Very nice. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your wooden box for the garden series by Jeannette Douglas? That is looking so pretty.

I got my box from Cabranmary Woods on Etsy. It’s the one that Jeannette Douglas calls out on her patterns. I just checked, they don’t have any listed now. Just keep your eye on it. I have to keep checked to get mine.
