Claire! I find so entertaining! I love your wit and references to your past with amusement.. then your last episode you mentioned “Pleasures and Pastimes “, and I swore I had gone there myself, but brushed it aside as I continued listening- and today you said “Buffalo”!!!! I am within an hour of Buffalo! Such a small world sometimes.. It is so nice to “meet” you.😊 Your stitching is gorgeous and very ambitious. I love your Pandemic - it appears many others do as well! Best wishes on all your courageous adventures with your local stitching group.

So happy I found you! I laugh, I listen, I'm nodding my head! I have no one around me but I found youtube and that just opened a world! Yes, Chatelaines ( Evening in the Park), Long Dog Samplers ( way too many to list!), Prairie Schooler, etc. You love what I love!!!! You need to watch the Virginia Stitcher or Teresa Little stitcher!!!!

Like your videos. Glad you found some stitch friends to hang out with. Being a male stitcher I have a hard time thinking about going to a stitch night or retreat when chances are I would be the only male. I visited Germany many years ago and found it a nice place. Keep stitching and keep up the good work.

Actually we had the spouse of the craft store employee show up and he is working on an awesome snow leopard kit from Riolis! Hope you find some peeps to connect with- it is a pretty female dominated hobby

Just found your floss tube! I love your channel! And I have stitched that little "Flight" witch as well! I love that stitch! So many of your comments resonated with me, we must be kindred souls, although I am certainly many years older than you! I also have inherited the family button tin, and remember spending so many fun hours with the buttons growing up. Good luck with your channel! I hope to catch as many of your posts as I can!

Having your grandmother's buttons on your finished piece makes it extra special :) Good luck with monitoring your group - you might need it LOL I have seen some whopper fights blow up sometimes 🤭

I was listening to your video while cleaning up after dinner, and I stopped in my tracks when I heard Buffalo NY. I live in Buffalo 😄😄 I am also not an outdoorsy kind of winter person. Everyone I know is a snowboarder and I’m like that’s cool, catch ya in the lodge with some cocoa!

Omg that's so awesome for you! This is my 1st time here. I have hella materials, my Grammy was a legend in. Design, style, designed+made her own wedding gown which was on the front door page of the newspaper...5th Generation. Pressure. I'm more of a "collector/curator" but I know I can. I want that(fine it's cheating but...)Singer black remake that's all computerized, etc. I have the tin as well! Do u have the "tomato pin cushion." I'm probably going to be a pain bc she had a real obsession w/metal bobbins?! IDk. Much luck, love+appreciation! XO!

Your Chatelaine beading looks AWESOME! Stash unload groups are very dangerous. 😂 I’m currently trying to stay out of them. 😂 My poor Pandemic hasn’t seen the light of day in forever. 😂 I LOVE your idea to add that small to an ort shadowbox! Do it!!

Glad to hear you found a couple of people to call stitchy friends there. It sounds fun to go somewhere and sit and stitch. I am still so jealous you can pop in to the Zweigart shop. Thx for that. I use the railroading method on all my beading. Some of the designers have you do half stitches to make the beads sit a certain way. I still railroad (split) my stitches because the bead is much more secure to me. Even on the half stitches. I usually do full stitches, two strands and railroad the stitches. Just my 2 cents.😊
