Love your flosstube and I am in agreement with you on making reproduction samplers an adaptation and placing your ancestors on them. I am sure many of those children were following some kind of design wether from their instructor or a drawn pattern. Hopefully they will create a time line for future generations in each of our families. Keep on stitching❤️

❤️ your video!! My name is Sandy and I live in Spartanburg South Carolina. I e lived here a year now. I lost my husband 5 years ago. I took care of him for 2 years before he passed away. We were married 51 years. I had to put my crafts to the side to take care of my soul mate. I just got back to stitching about 3 years ago. So happy you have been so well received by this wonderful community. Congratulations! I'm from a small town in Western Colorado. I have no needlework shop close to me so all shopping is done online. I learned to embroider from my grandmother when I was about 5 years old. And then i learned to crossstitch while living in Indonesia. My next door neighbor there taught me how and graciously gave me some of her supplies so i could stitch. I quit after I had my 3rd child. I started back up just a couple months ago because I discovered Kimberly Jolly's flosstube. I then realized ALL the flosstube videos. I have now fallen down the rabbit hole. I'm sticking with small things to stitch until I get better at it and have more time. Still having to work full time. I'm also a quilter. Garden & Home

I absolutely adore the both of you! Y’all are my kind of stitchin’ pals! And I want you to know how sweet I think y’all are to offer up the Erica Wilson HOOP stand. Erica is extra special in my heart as her book on crewel embroidery caused me to fall down the needlework rabbit hole like no other. I was a sophomore in high school and loved working with crewel yarns. I continued stitching Erica’s designs through college and several years later chose to stitch crewel work pieces as gifts to the women in my wedding party. Fast forward another five years and I discovered Erica was the only designer creating patterns of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit. I was creating a nursery for my first child and wanted a Peter Rabbit room. Needless to say I bought everything that Erica made available…which, by that time, included cross stitch patterns as well. Soooo Erica Wilson has been a big part of my stitching journey and it thrills me that she is still remembered today. Oh! By the way, The Stitch Niche in Arlington, Texas is my LNS!

While I was home outside in my garden I saw my friend JBW. She came inside and we enjoyed some tea in our teacups. She just loved my stitching of hearts which I had on my hoop. She asked me if I had watched the antique needleworkers? I said yes they are awesome. Their needlework is perfection. I wanted her to know that you both are very sweet. See you next time

Hello Ladies! I know what you mean about traveling! Since 2020 I've made 3 trips traveling by car from Florida to California. I just started cross stitching after 30+ yrs that being said I have been crocheting for almost 60 years. So I crochet while traveling. I've made a shawl, a caplet, cell phone holders and several sunflower loofahs/pot scrubbers. Not including traveling back and forth to Virginia! Whew!!

Fell in love with u guys the first video. My one and only stitching friend I just had to sing your praises to. U guys have my heart. So so precious. I've never had anyone to talk to about stitching other than this one friend. My husband and I own a little feed and seed store ina small community of Asheville NC. Been there 19 years. I'm ready to retire but not my husband. The only thing that distresses me is stitching. At this point I don't have a lot of time for that. I'm just too tired in the evening....and my eyes are crossed! Lol. I just want to thank u for being u and starting these videos. Since I don't have time to stitch a lot, it's such a blessing to watch u sweet ladies.

I am so excited about visiting with you girls this second time and look forward to many more.
