Hmmmmm....Murder May......I love it! I already have WIPs that include a skull or two, and crows, and darkness.....with plenty of space for more!

Candie is looking so freaking good with that purple conversion! Everytime I see the dancing witches I think ‘I need to get some raven stitchcrafts asap’ buuut I’m restisting til I’ve finished something because flosstubers are bad influences on my wallet (I include myself in that btw) 😂😂 I didn’t find working with Kreinik’s too different but I do have a few tips! - Cut your lengths quite a bit shorter to start with to get used to using it, if you’re finding it easy to work with then go back up to your usual lengths - Do a couple of test stitches for how many strands you’d like to use. Each colour / style? (idk they come in different thicknesses lol) can have different coverage - With the mermaid I didn’t think thread conditioner / wax made it easier to work with but they were blending filament and number 4 very fine threads. I’ve since been working with number 8 which is a lot chunkier and needs a bit of conditioner to help it run through the fabric - Especially for thicker strands, I put my finger in the loop when making a stitch. It helps to keep the strand laying flat and stops it tangling Hope that helps 🖤 I’m going to be beading for the first time too but no point soon. I’ll be back for some of your tips 😊

😂😂😂flosstube was my demise as well! My wip pile seems to grow weekly, and my wish lists from multiple places are I can't even tell u how long! Despite goin broke for cross stitch, I do really appreciate this community space cuz I've discovered so many new great things...I mean prior to watching and stuff I really thought xstitch was a dying art! Ugh thats another thing since finding ft....i now have a needle minder addiction and everything I see I want to turn into one! Now I gotta go check out those channels u were talking about... I know I'm late, but another great video 😊 I really like your gothic/witchy projects. So fun 😃 I wish I could have known about #murdermay and I could join with my Ouija Board full coverage sooner. Anyway, moving on... One trick that I use working with both Kreinik and invisible nylon thread for beading (if you use invisible thread) Knot the end on to the needle, and they don't slip 😊 Short Kreinik is preferable, or else it will fray a lot. You probably already know about these tips, but I thought I'd share it anyway 😁 Have a great witchy week. Happy stitching 🪡

my skull is always in space

I was actually going to pick up my Crow kit from Satsuma St for my next work project so this timed itself wonderfully XD I find Krenik isn't as bad as some other metallics but I do recommend using a needle threader for it for less of a threading headache. I also use a tacky bob for beading because it helps me to offset my hands shaking when picking them up on the needle

I had a few Lenore comics from the same time and was a similar age. I didn’t realize they made it into a show! Did you also read Johnny the Homicidal Maniac? When it comes to space movies/tv I’m more of a Trekkie too. That skull is great! I’d be interested in a spooky round robin. I haven’t done one before. They look like a lot of fun!
