Love, love, love your down to earth, so enjoyable videos. I am getting back to stitching after a long hiatus and happy to be back. Allison, I love the changeable spool frame. If you ever have the time in the future, could you give a short tutorial on that? Thanks, and can’t wait for your next floss tube!

To salvage your 'Let's Talk Spring' stitch, just add the row of tulips, without the word tulip, under "has sprung". Then make it into a small pillow.

Love watching you ladies!!! Once I viewed your last Floss Tube, I immediately bought The Fifth Wing and Iron Flame. I read The Fifth Wing in 4 days (didn't do much else in those 4 days - LOL!) I just LOVE Dragons! Thanks for the information on the books!!! Love both of your stitching and videos! I just purchased a couple of the "spool" cross stitch patterns so thanks for showing your finishing frame. I think I'll do the same! Looking forward to your next video! Keep smiling and keep stitching!!! :)

Great Video!! I’m sorry I was trying so hard to ignore the tapping and clicking sound in the background but I could see it was a bit annoying to you too !! You kept looking in the direction of the noise!! Then it went from annoying to comical!! I was wondering if you were tempted to say, Please stop it , can’t you see we are recording a Floss Tube!! LOL!! Don’t mind my comment I know life happens and things you can’t always control!! You and your Mom are awesome!! I’ve been watching you since your first FlossTube!! You are doing an awesome job on this!! I loved your pillow finish too!! I’m so proud of you for trying it!! You will never learn unless you try!! I admire you for trying it!! Keep up the good work!!🥰💙

Great to see you both! I stitched all my Let's Talk on 32 count Chalkboard linen & by the time I got to Summer I was struggling & kept putting it in time out. I finally finished it & was able to hang it last year, my old eyes didn't like it. Joy from Carolina Stitchers loves 28 count Shadow, I think it's a Picture This Plus. Sometimes it's the type of fabric that makes it difficult.

I did all my Chalk Talks on chalkboard 14 count Adia. I love stitching on it because the squares are easier to stitch. The color is easier than black. Game changer. Make a pillow with what you have already stitched. Love your video.

Don’t throw that Spring on black out!! Wait and try stitching it in a nice sunny day with it at your back ! I found the natural sunlight was so much better for me to see the holes ! If that doesn’t work out then try to salvage what you can and make a long narrow pillow !

So happy you both love your bags, thank you so much for sharing! I brought 3 stitching projects to work on while away but I not only finished the first book on the plane (yes I caved and started it the day before I left) but I am half way through the 2nd book and completely hooked. Absolutely zero stitching has been done since I started the books! Obsessed!

You should try chalkboard aida instead of the black. I have also used the PTP dusk lugana and liked it too. I think you would like either of those better than actual black. Much easier to see in my opinion. I have not even tried black but the chalkboard and dusk I did not have any problems using.

Hi Allison, I have a tip for working on the black fabric. The Tiny House Stitcher showed a solution. Here #24 Flosstube at time mark 31 min. that she tried and worked. It involves using LED strip lights on the inside under side of your hoop. Hope that helps!

I love the way the stitching looks on black but it isn’t fun to stitch on! Normally those types of stitches I make a one thread a day project for that reason😂wish I could at I’m and snap gal but nope I had a new one that was so tight when I slid the side off to move my fabric it ripped it in half! It was 49 ct linen and I was almost done on my stitching so now I use nurge hoops and I truly love them! Please be careful when you move those side pieces, I can’t be the only one that has happened to? Love all the stitching ladies have a great few weeks!❤😊

I just started stitching on 28 ct black. The project I’m doing I want on black. I just have to take my time. But I agree I don’t love it and will only do it for pieces I really want on black. Remember it’s ok to just have the black one in your wip pile and pick it up every once in a while. Great seeing you all again!

I enjoy watching you ladies! I am doing my first project on black and struggling! Same sentiment, I LOVE the way it look, however, I am not feeling joy while stitching like I typically do. I actually started with black Monaco and quickly switched to black Aida, bette, but still struggling. I appreciate the suggestions of a sunny day or trying chalkboard for my next called for black fabric. Cross stitchers are such wonderful humans and I love being a part of the stitchy community🪡🧵💖✨

Don’t you just love it when people reach out in kindness! The pillow is beautiful in the stitching and in the ric rac/rick rack trim. I am really enjoying your flosstube! With the black Lugana, are you finding it too hard to see where you stitch? I have not stitched on black yet, so I am curious as to why you aren’t enjoying it.

Yes, it’s hard to see where to place my needle even with a lightboard underneath it. And then I don’t always like the light shining up in my face. I actually find it easier to stitch on 32 count linen in the country mocha then I do the 28 count in the black Lugana

@@LostOurNeedles Thank you, I have not heard anyone say this about black. And I can certainly see that this would be an issue. I think that a lighter shade in maybe a smoke, would work just as well. Again, thank you for sharing this.
