Thanks for another great "visit" with me...I feel like I'm sitting with you in your craft room! Your videos have truly helped me in the past two months. I have herniated discs in my back and have to wait until Feb. 29th for surgery. Listening to you takes my mind off my nerve pain. I love when you dig in your storage bins...you are such an enabler!!! Guess who bought the rabbits and eggs stitch today?!!!! I died laughing about your threads with no project!!! I have to make notes now when I shop so when stuff arrives I know what it's for! Ha! Loved all your spring goodies. LOVED your thrift store sticker!!! That's me and my daughter when we get together. Thrift stores, antique malls and quilting shops for her! Thanks for taking the time to visit via video, I really appreciate it. Hugs from Colorado!

🤗So glad you like the video ❤️Got myself into more trouble lately. Went to the crafty Grimalkin and picked up a chart I already had just to see what colors it needed. I did find some of the specialty flosses👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼I put the chart back, bought the threads, got home and now I can’t find my chart 🤦🏼♀️It’s a stitcher’s struggle. Wishing you the best possible day on the 29th! Be sure to drink lots of fluids when you’re on the other side to flush out that anesthesia. Quick healing😘

Congratulation on the Christmas finish, I am looking forward to seeing it fully finished. Cute pin tin. You could turn the bag inside out and use the pretty gray side with a inside snap. I have friends that are overly obsessed about their backs drives some of us nuts. Thread buggers, you crack me up, your back is lovely. Love the finished heart in the black frame. All your framed designs are lovely. All your Easter finishes' are beautiful. I hope you share you Easter decorating.

Hey, Northwoods. Had a great time watching this just now during my binge to catch up on channels I had watched only a few times. I liked NEARLY everything you said. Did no one else appreciate that delightful spool you dubbed "hideous?" I absolutely loved it and saw myself freehanding the stitch for the top cushion to look just like the interesting design on the spool!
@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher3 ай бұрын
It was a pretty ugly spool…my friend Spools will turn it into something wonderful 🤗❤️Thanks for watching

Fun to watch your bucket opening! Just remember---some of us are new and haven't seen your things before! It's all new to me! I am buying that Just Cross Stitch (actually sending my husband to the store to get it as I'm working) just to get that Elizabeth Almond pattern (the Blackwork one). I've done a number of hers and they're so addictive and do-able!

Love, love, love the diamond little ornaments! What a wonderful gift! I’m so jealous of your finds at the Dump & other thrift stores. I go to Goodwill, etc and find nothing! Very frustrating! I too have very little stitched Valentine decorations! Working on Heart in Hands 2023 Collectors Heart at the moment. Trying to get it finished by Valentines Day! I think I will make it in time! Happy stitching!

It is always so much fun to see what you’ve found at Goodwill or the dump, and how you repurpose those wonderful finds. Really enjoyed all your stitching tips too. I always use the loop method when stitching with two threads (except when using overdyed flosses), except I’m lazy and hate turning my work over, and so I start the loop at the front, which saves me a little time. Enjoy your stitching!
@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher6 ай бұрын
Thank you. I could never master the loop from the front. Can’t wait to go hunting again at Goodwill. It’s just been so cold I’m not in the mood to go out. Stitchin the day away ☺️

Temu dies and stamps are inexpensive and all I have purchased have been of good quality. I now must look for another scroll frame, thank you Ms. Enabler, ha, ha! Your bunny stitches are adorable, especially the Bunnies in the Round from JBW. She is such a lovely person and a talented designer. I have purchased back issues of Just Cross Stitch magazines from Amazon dated 2001-2010 and 2011-2015 on two dvds, so I have the pattern you showed done in white on dark mauve fabric. It is so beautiful in the white frame you used!

I wanted to try the diamond painting so I got a coaster set - so FUN! I did see quite a few reviews that mentioned sealing it, to keep dust from setting on the sticky parts and prevent water from interferring with the drills sticking. Your little pillow is so cute! There were others I liked too -- but I've had to split watching into 3 parts and I don't remember what I started typing earlier. LOL Have a great week!
@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher6 ай бұрын
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼just found out about sealing it. May have to invest to keep these ornaments at their cutest❤️May have to look 👀 into the coasters! Thanks! Enjoy the rest of your week

You can start the loop method on the front of your fabric. Just need to make sure you pull the loop all the way through to the back. Much easier than starting on the back.

I’ve never been able to do it that way but have friends who do it ❤️

I bought those scroll bars from Temu as well. The snap on system secures fabic very nicely. I used it all last year on a fairly large piece and it worked well in my Lowry stand.

Love your new magnetic needle keeper. Great idea. I"ll have to be on the look out for some. I don't understand either what the big deal about the back of the stitching is all about. I did hand embroidery as a child. When I would show it to my mom she never looked at the front only the back. I never could understand why. Who is going to see the back? I am pretty bad about carrying thread not real far but maybe up to 5 holes. I only use 14 ct Aida because of my eyes so I really don't have to worry about it showing through. I like your idea of using your new to you snapped bag for your Qsnap but I think I would more use it as a project bag for a small stitch but that's just me. Great idea for me to make some. I tend to use a smaller needle and it seems to be easier to finish off my thread than some of the larger needles. . I can go under the stitches and that's how I tie off. I have found Temu is the best place to get diamond painting kits. They are so much cheaper than Amazon and especially the craft shops.
@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher6 ай бұрын
I like smaller needles too but lately have issues threading them😒depending on the fabric really depends on what needle I enjoy using. There’s no right or wrong way just comfort and ease to consider. The attention I pay to my back is only when I’m framing. I get irritated after I have framed something and notice a shadow of a thread I could’ve hidden. I hope to find some more cute shapes tins too! That Hello Kitty was a fun one ❤️Just put another order into Temu🤦🏼♀️I need to slow my projects 😜
