We were so spoiled at the retreat. Joanna made the cable tie floss holder with Maine flag and stork scissors and Maine charm….just love it. We were so spoiled it feels impossible for me to really express all the fun I had and the thankfulness I want to convey in everyone’s generosity. 🧵🪡🧵

Fun video, Sarah! I’ve been seeing several retreat recap videos and each and every one is so good. The creativity is amazing in all of the little gifts that stitchers share. Have a wonderful adventure in Germany! Thanks for putting the time and effort into making videos to post while you are traveling, I’d certainly miss seeing you. Take care! 💐

Uff da sticker is from the Welcome Stitchers floss tube channel called WIPS and sips. Comes from Blue Earth MN in southern MN. Green Giant gets veggies to can from the farmers in the area. The charm you received is named Little Sprout. I grew up near by. There is also a museum dedicated to SPAM canned meat- I’m serious!

My husband's family is from up north and spent his younger years in Minnesota. His brother says Uff Da all the time. My understanding is it's Norwegian in some way...🤷♀️ Very fun to see all your goodies!

LOL! It’s against my religion to read directions. Good thing my husband reads every.single.word! Using childhood photos for floss drops isn’t new. I did it two years ago, but I had never seen it done before. Glad it’s catching on. Ha ha!

Love your videos. Have a great time in Germany, my husband was German so we went there many times. I still don't speak German though and we were married for 53 years. What part of Germany are you going to. Anne

Uff Da, the expression is of Norwegian origin, used mostly in the upper midwest. It's used to express surprise, bafflement, or dismay.
