I love how the needle magically pops up from the back of the fabric. LOL I will give it a try, said butter fingers...

Woohoo, video uploaded! The reason I do the rows from left to right and back right to left is because I have my project on a qsnap instead of a frame. I have to move the qsnap to get all the way over to the right side of the project and it’s easier to stitch back to the left instead of moving the qsnap again 😀 I absolutely LOVE this way of stitching, it has sped up my stitching as I don’t have to think of where to stitch next. I am a cross country stitcher at heart, but I was taking too long to map out my stitches, this eliminates that 👍

I've just picked up a haed I haven't touched for about a year. And wow, royal rows is a game changer. I was doing box by box, Then diagonal but definitely sticking to your rows. Getting loads done. Thankyou chica! 🌈

I think you’ve got a brilliant idea here. If a person has tried FC and can’t seem to wrap their head around it, definitely they should give this a go. Excellent video, absolutely recommend Congrats on the new start!

I think I want to try this method. A member of a facebook group I'm in commented about it and showed her work so I looked it up and found your video. I really like the way you end your threads.

I have the same kit to stitch. I was a bit overwhelmed by the thought of starting it, but you make it look easy, so I will give it a go when I’m finished with my current project. I can’t wait to try the royal row method. Your videos are great. I came across your channel by accident and almost immediately subscribed. I really enjoy your voice-it is quite soothing. Onto the next video!

You're using more thread by completing each X individually. I highly recommend the //// \\\\ approach!

Always good to see people starting new haeds. I may try a version of your royal rows on my Arabian street by Ciro Marchetti. It's on a extra wide scroll frame. It may be more fun than page by page.

Really enjoyed your new update and explanation of your Royal Rows. Im currently stitching 10x10 diagonal blocks, but when you described parking and looking around,thats exactly what I do. I think you can not have too many parked threads....the more the merrier and faster you can go. I so dislike having to stop and pull a new thread from my floss card. Im new to.Full coverage,parking and pattern keeper. Are you able to see all the blocks you need to see on your tablet without having to move the screen when searching for where your parking??? I currently can for my diagonal and make the screen big enough to be able to use my finger to tap symbols and be able to see with my old eyes. Maybe you could show how your page on tablet is set-up...nobody would be able to still pattern just showing that much....hope this makes sense. Sorry for rambling on...hope you enjoyed your zoom. My fur baby pit bulls name is Trixie...dont know how you spell your kuttens but you picked a good name. I figured since she did tricks its spelled Tricksy 🤔

OMG! I think I've got it now! When it finally clicks it's AMAZING!!! I'm about to start a large sampler and I think this would work amazing for it. I think I might have to get a stand. Do you use a table stand or a floor stand? This is genius!!!

I just found your channel, watched all your videos from the beginning. I've only stitched full cross, was thinking I would try tent next, then you chose full cross on your dragon project. Is there a reason you chose to full cross instead of tent? Tent stitch reminds me of when I stitched needlepoint years ago.
@RoyalStitcher
@RoyalStitcher 2 жыл бұрын
I just chose to do full cross because it's not quite as large as my deep Blue Sea project so feel it won't take as long. I don't minds stitching either method as long as the coverage is good 😀

It sounds like you have a super supportive partner♥️👍. You sound very organised. Wish I was. Silly question do you use the kitchen table? Could you move in to your sitting room? Have a good meet up on Zoom. Take care 🤗

Hey. Yeah partner is very supportive and is always trying to find a neater more organised way of stitching, ie frame, stand etc. I do use my kitchen table and radiator to support the extra weight of my frame, will be moving into the living room once we get around to clearing a good stitchy corner. Partner is super busy at work at the moment so we haven't gotten around to doing it. Plus the lighting is great in the kitchen. He will be making sure I have good light in the living room xx

How do you get such good tension on a scroll frame ? I like my Aida fabric to be drum tight , but the ends always seem loose…?
@RoyalStitcher
@RoyalStitcher 2 жыл бұрын
Dowels to be straight, no bowing. And attaching the fabric, I make sure I have the tape edge level with a guide line, I then let the masking tape set overnight with extra fabric rolled over, I find that helps the masking tape stick and stay stuck. I tighten the scroll frame just enough to turn the dowel still, it creaks because of tightness with screws. Repeat every other day or when its seems to of loosened. Hope this helps xx
