Whats the longest scroll rod you have attached fabric to with a sewing machine?

Hi Donnett. When you take your piece off the scroll rods do you cut it off or use a seam ripper? I sometime use quilters heavy quilting thread for basting my work to the scroll rods.

I would use a seam ripper and take out the stitch attaching it to the webbing. Then you can put your next project right on and get back to stitching. Oh I bet a heavy quilting thread would work well to attach the fabric to the webbing.

Just want to be sure I understand. if my fabric is 30 inches wide, I would need to have the 36 inch scroll rod. Correct?
