16 yrs ago when my mom passed away, my cousins arrived an hour after we called them. Being that they were literally 2 miles away at a casino, I asked what took them so long! My cousin sheepishly told me that she was winning at the poker table so I declared “Well, you owe me 20% since my mom was already gone and was probably helping you so cough it up”. My family instantly went SILENT! And then my sister busted up laughing and saved my soul 🤣🤣🤣

Congratulations on 2K. I love when your floss tubes come out. Helen D and The Giddy Stotcher have beading tutorials. A sticky mat holds beads so they are easier to thread. .They don’t roll away or fall . I found sticky silicone mats but there are better ones . Barnabus is adorable. That bee bag is a work of art. ❤

I have just started cross stitching again since I was 30, started the first time I made I was 20ish, and now I'm 65, quiet a break, things have changed so much, I love it! I created one for my mom and I lost 2 years ago. I never relized then how deep my feelings I would have for that piece. She always had it as the only piece above her bed. So referring to 🐝 's, every time I look at the piece I get a little sting reminding me how much I love her and miss her daily 😢

Hi Sheila...I truly believe you are mybsister from another mistwr. Yiur sayings and ways of speaking and so very similar to mine. I think you were raised in the south..lol. your comment about laughing anout violent or tragic things is so true. I was a 91q dispatcher and supervisor for 25 years bee lieve me. If you dont laugh at some things your body absords so much negative that it begin to die. I sure wish i was closer to Stitchville...we have so few lns's here in Georgia. For beading, I typically ignore the usual instructions and use a full cross stitch with my bead. So with the first "arm" of the cross, I come up through the bead and get it fastened down, and then with the other "arm" I cross over the bead splitting the 2 strands of floss over the bead to secure and center it. That bead isn't going anywhere!

I'm monogamous in that I work on one project type at a time. One X stitch, one quilt, one book, but because I have different types of projects I don't get bored😊

Love your videos, I also knit and crochet, I crocheted a bee hive blanket for my granddaughter. Great bag, thank you for your generosity.
