This is a blistering cd, start to finish. They even upped their game on the followup, Drift, which I consider one of metal's all time best records.

People please hear me! I am trying to spread that album now for decades, i think the whole name of Flotsam and Jetsam is the problem for other people( maybe call em flots or flot like you wish). I played that album so much times for non metalheads, who i have to say really liked it because it´s a great one, now and everytime i tell ´em the bands name theiy seem to overhear it and i tell em again and again. Please spread the word about Flots or flot like you wish, this album is too great for not been known!

@@MB-oc1nwThat's what you think gramps and to answer that question, it's because of grunge being all over the place until 1995. Grunge basically started a trend of rock music that no one cares about anymore. A trend of pop rock music, including post-grunge, rap rock and aggrometal, that aged like milk.

Fantastic album from start to end, this album is better than most off the albums of metallica, anthrax and megadeth from the nineties, only slayer did great albums till 1994, this band simply knows to write good music, the grunge influence is minor, there was pressure from the labels to sound a little grungy, this one is a eccellent effort by the band, thanks for sharing.

Flotsam&Jetsam are a great band but this record I only listened 2 or 3 times and I don't know what to say now.Maybe a grew record? Really don't know

WOw. SHould have known more about these guys, than jason newsted was their bassist at one time. Just sharing a message that was shared with me. Eternity Matters. THis is how to be saved by GOd the Father/Jesus for eternity. GOspel of Grace. Faith plus nothing outside of this, for salvation. Believe sincerely from the heart, Jesus died on the cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead, and you will be saved. ANd nothing to maintain it. GOd/Jesus/Holy SPirit. will take care of the rest, after you sincerely believe. 1 COrinthians 15 1-4 from the Word of God/Bible confirms this. Taught by our apostle in this age of Grace. Paul. NOt the 12. Matthew 10 5-6 proves this. Read acts 9 10-16 to prove Paul was the chosen apostle for the gentiles.

Heard their stuff before. Mostly from a Soundtrack to a movie. I find they are hit and miss with songs. Mostly for Background noise that's tolerable. Thanks for the UL.

021Sweden labels were trying to push alot of these thrash bands that way,no doubt,which is probably why it didnt pan out.suffice it to say,the words "groove" and "midtempo"got thrown around alot in the interviews in magazines.all things considered,this album stands up pretty well over the years.one thing about this band is they have stayed pretty consistent and retained a specific sound through the various changes.

And honestly,the better bands of the era back then were the lesser known,more obscure bands.that includes the so-called grunge period as well.some decent bands there as well such as My Sisters Machine,Skinyard and Gruntruck.alot of good stuff faded off as it goes with any of this.
