Instead of dusting cocoa powder on it, i would recommend instant coffe or TURKISH COFFEE it is absolutely much better than cocoa you must try it.

I made the cake yesterday, but I had to change the ingredients a bit, so it's dairy free... I also didn't use gelatine and I was sooo worried that I had to throw the cake away twice! And then I was worried that the cream on top would taste awful, because I had to switch some things out... In the end it tasted AMAZING! My dad and his girlfriend also tried it and they loved it!😍

Home cooking is simply the best!!

I've been hunting recipes and watching videos of flourless chocolate cakes for 2 days now. FINALLY this one is it! (Making it tonight.) You separate the eggs, add cocoa powder not just chocolate and where I planned to add espresso powder to the cake you went one better with the mousse. (I might only have gelatin sheets if at all so I might need to alter the mousse.) I'll let you know how it works for me…

Use Agar agar instead of gelatine!

I made the mousse but did not make the coffee mixture a whip before adding it to the whipped cream so it curdled a bit. Still came out amazing after adding some extra whipped cream to compensate. Then again, my cream was not 35% fat. Thanks for this! I'll try again soon.

I really liked this. Made it with a few changes, I micro'd the chocolate and butter, reduced the sugar in the chocolate layer by half and used dark chocolate chips not semisweet. It turned out excellent. Oh I also used chocolate syrup to decorate the top not the cocoa.

I made it yesterday and it's AMAZING! It's decadent, chocolaty and very moist. Btw, the chocolate cake is basically a cake we make here in Italy; it's called "Tenerina" and it's the most amazing thing ever. I'm definitely going to make this cake again.

Made it and it was delicious. I did reduce the sugar to 80g for the mousse. Next time i might also reduce the sugar for the vake as well as I've been told that it was still a tad sweet.

Aquafaba could play such a HUGE role here. The whole darn lovely dish could easily be vegan for those delicate creatures who cant handle bovine products. Replace the sugar with blackstrap molasses and sweetner, and replace the cornstarch with tapioca or arrowroot and the whole thing turns keto. Lovely. And thank you for putting the entire recipe in the description instead of being obnoxious and telling us to go elsewhere for it. I really hate that. But this recipe is flipping awesome. I really like it, sweetie.
