I got this book(The One Thing) randomly from my late brother's best friend, the owner of the book was actually my late brother. I read it for about a week and I opened my youtube to be pleasantly suprised with a new video from Joseph here giving his interpertation of that exact book. I believe more everyday that the universe is certainly working for us. As I work towards what I know I must/want to do, the signs or more prominent. As I let go of clinging to past beliefs, everything becomse harmonious automatically.

I had been thinking about selling my house. My reluctance was that I didn't want someone to cut down my ancient fruit trees. Litteraly five minutes ago a family stopped by asking if I knew anyone that wanted to sell a house, and that they were looking for a place with an heirloom orchard.....WOW!

Yes this is about the end goal vision. They did that famous experiment where they gave a child 1 marshmallow and told the child that if they didn't eat the marshmallow they'd get another one after a few minutes. They did this with 600 kids and 67% didn't wait. Then they tracked the children into adulthood and the kids that waited (delayed gratification) were much more successful than the ones that didn't. IMO it's a study measuring Vision. If the child was able to visualize having 2 marshmallows later then they'd wait. If they weren't able to see that far ahead then they'd eat the marshmallow immediately. It's so simple it's brilliant. My parents never did the experiment on me but I'd like to think I'd have passed coz I always left the marshmallows in my cereal till the end coz they're the best part :p But even if you didn't pass the marshmallow test, if you're watching this video you can just reprogram your mind now that you know.

Joseph if you ever read this I think a good follow up video to this would be the question to what extent and under what circumstances the HOW (pretty much the first 10 minutes is discussing the HOW) is important. Because as you know in our hemisphere usually we say "dont think about the how go to the end". I.e.: 1) Becoming a lawyer (clearly defined how) 2) Finding new love (no how whatsoever. In "normal" terms of thinking this might also be the most frustrating question in these scenarios) So what's your viewpoint on this?

Just wanted to share that I was in an insanely positive mood the other day and when I checked my phone I saw that I had three emails, two for missing to pay off my school debt, two times in a row, and the last email was a notification telling me that all my debt had been paid for. So after all this headbanging trying to imagine perfectly I have a feeling that all you need is an end goal and an insanely positive (authentic) attitude. Great videos btw!
