I'd probably call this a medium length flow or a classic middlepart curtains haircut. Regardless this is the haircut i'd ask for if i want to grow out my hair into a long flow, this haircut is a great foundation to start with.

In Canada, that is NOT a flow, lol. The flow is a really popular haircut amongst hockey players that could be considered to be in the mullet family. It's longer in the back and 'flows' out the back of the helmet. I'll have to start double-checking with younger clients to see if they're talking about the hockey flow or the tiktok flow.

in california, i understand the flow as a medium or long haircut, also with length in the back that would flow as you described in a helmet or hat. not what this guy is showing. although, this is similar to the haircut i want.

Can you go over swirls/cowlick in the back. I know you’ve discussed this many times but. I have an issue where the back of my head looks like a swirl. But if I push my hair all back then that swirl becomes a part where the hair goes in two opposite directions. So I can’t tell if it’s a swirl or a natural part.
