Flowdan is one of the wickedest artists to come out of the UK. I remember being a kid and hearing him on a set ripped to CD back in '03, Brixton, my brother and I thought who the hell is this demon on the mic? I never dreamed he'd win a Grammy, but no one deserves it more. His career is a guide and an inspiration. As beautiful as it is to hear Flowdan over XTC, poor Target: sad to see one of grime's pioneers play some of the most obvious riddims here. We're all here for Flowdan, not the riddims, and he was still playing shook. Rinsing Together in 2024? Since then j3llyx's dropped Ruas de Inhoaiba, DSL's dropped Tek Charge, Utah?'s dropped Signal?, ALXZNDR's dropped M4, Just Geo's dropped Snatched... You wasted an opportunity to back the underground and ran any 2014-pubescent-grime-resurgence selection. Pass the baton, Target, I beg. You're clearly done. Big up Flowdan.
