The "Hwangryong River Autumn Flower Festival" that couldn't be held for 3 years
The Jangseong Hwangryong River Autumn Flower Festival will be held for nine days from October 8 to 16.

The Autumn Flower Festival is so popular that it has recorded 1 million visitors for three consecutive years. Jeollanam-do also highly appreciated the value of the festival and selected it as a representative festival of Jeollanam-do twice.
In addition to the yellow cosmos, pink muley, Cheon Il-hong, and Baek Il-hong are planted in various ways.
The festival consists of four themes and 30 programs, including the △ Starlight Wall (space exhibition), △ Emotional Wall (cultural performance), △ Together Wall (experience and participation), and △ Wall (festival-linked events).
On October 8, at 6 p.m., a Korean traditional music performance by Namdo masters and master singers will be held at Jangseong Culture and Arts Center to mark the start of the Hwangryong River Autumn Flower Festival.
During the festival, performances by local cultural artists, mini-busking of the Hwangryong River, the National Gugak Contest, and traditional market festivals will be held to boost the excitement.
There are also plenty of things to enjoy and see, including electric trains, water experiences (moon boats), night scenery creation, and exhibitions of club works. Events such as the Hwangryong River Walking Competition and the Job Fair in connection with the festival will also be held to expand the participation of local residents and visitors.
