This was a request from one of the survivors of the MSU shooting on February 13th 2023.
Three young lives were taken, five were injured, and hundreds of others have been traumatized.
School shootings are an epidemic in America. Please research, vote, and reach out to your elected representatives and tell them this sort of this happens far too often.
Linked below is a location where you can contribute to the GoFundMe pages of the victims and their families:
www.gofundme.com/c/act/michig...
MSU has been covering the costs of therapy, funerals, and hospitalizations and donations can be sent to givingday.msu.edu/projects/spartan-strong-fund.

It’s nice to hear you play a more serious pipe tune and just as I thought you would, play it beautifully, Ally. I’ve played this tune at family funerals and it’s difficult to play with a lump in your throat.

I listen to this song when I'm tired. Scottish folk songs have something in common with Japanese classical music, so they are very easy on the Japanese ear. I want to listen to "My home" next. Ally, thank you for always letting me listen to good music!!

Translation of @Maik Papa’s reply: “Who cares? Wars are not ended with weapons with hippie fantasies.” Read the room, Maik. @@mr.sherrill9137 I think you both are missing the point of the quote. Bernstein is not saying that music will literally stop violence. Instead that music will help heal the mental and emotional wounds of violence.

Ally, I sent your video to my cousin, who was in the military police in Afghanistan. He said this: "Brings back haunting memories for me. When deployed in Afghan they would play it when ever a British soldiers body was repatriated. Happened a number of times at my patrol base. It is worth remembering The Afghan police lost a 1500 patrolman in 6 months working alongside us." My cousin was moved by your music too 🥰

@@nicolashartenfaustlutz I’d prefer not to wear a poppy. My family fought for the right for small nations to be free in Ireland against England. I have no problem with others wearing one. But, I would rather abstain than be forced to wear a symbol representing the side that was oppressing my family.
