Today I was in Baltak and tried fishing in flowing water. It was quite high water and difficult to get down, but finally I cracked the code. I tried with floating line and a fairly heavy fly first. I thought it would work, but I don't think it came down anyway. I shifted between sinking and floating all the time, but stuck with the sinking line in the end. At least it paid off. This was my first visit here in Baltak and Tidan. But not the last.
