What's funny to me is how Kenny and old media tried so hard to make floyd fight the best there was but right now today you never see them going so hard at canelo to fight the best out there. Then act like they don't see canelo hand picking his opponents. These people are bias as hell.

There is bias against elite black fighters, not just from ESPN, but from the promotions and sanctioning bodies as well. Non-black fighters can fake injuries, lie about having COVID, and use PEDs, and you barely hear about it, if at all. The powers that be do not want elite black fighters to have belts, make money, or call the shots. Now, the WBC has invented the "franchise" designation, which allows non-black fighters to duck elite black fighters if they want.

Brian Kenny is probably speechless right now. Mayweather proved to him and the rest of the world the night he beat pacquiao that he is one of the best in the world. Man Floyd is a genius.. when he first started his boxing career he told his team (TMT) " ima work so hard that one day in my carrier, ima be the FIRST boxer to make 9 digits in ONE NIGHT" (100,000,000 Million dollars) so he knew everyone want him and pacquiao to fight. And he probally would of fought him back when they told him to if it wasnt for his steriods. but then he remember that hell just make everyone wait for years for the fight to happen and there you go.. he made his words come true.

I will say it until the end of time, Floyd Mayweather Jr is the Greatest Sportsman In The World. Give the Man the Respect He has sweat, bled and cried for. He Is Phenomenal and He's sitting on 50 - 0. Everyone who has been put in front of Floyd has lost. Now What?????? You've Ring Commentators, D, J's and Newsreaders all putting this Man down. Come on He's entertained Us for years, He's dedicated His Entire Life to the Sport but No One with A Voice will say what needs to be said while Floyd Mayweather Jr is here to hear it. He's The World's Greatest and He deserves The Accolade and The Respect that comes with All The Titles He Holds. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Secondly, he's been beaten and it was Marquez took him incredibley close recently. Floyd is unbeaten, has fought the best, his defence is just other worldly.

I don't understand why Mayweather is so scared of Pacquiao. I think he'd beat him, but he's obviously ducking Pacquiao. Pacquiao and his team says, "We're open to the fight and we want it." Mayweather just comes up with excuses. Pacquiao's achievements are cemented whether or not he fights Mayweather, Mayweather's legacy is being destroyed by Pacquiao. Mayweather should be the one to chase Pacquiao.

Honestly the boxing community needs more people like brian, we got three undefeated champs and they all ducking each other getting into fights with the worse opponents. Just stacking up W’s it’s outrageous. We need people like brian to ask them directly. Ryan garcia, why are you avoiding tank. Haney, why are you avoiding ryan. Boxing is a joke, lets go brian

Let me tell u sum The moment we see a new mayweather(which probably wont happen ever), there will be thousands of them. Not only that there arent allowed to be any of THOSE interviewers cuz them fighters these days are afraid of ANY confrontation or critisicm. This what makes floyd so great bro he confronts it, he walks it and talks it
@brianticas7671

That's because by this point he was already convinced that he had haters no matter who he beat. If you know their history you would know that Brian Kenny always speculated that Floyd ducked certain fighters. Floyd here had already beat Shane, hatton, zab, baldomir, and Marquez. Only one left was Pacman of importance

@mattyrich76 As for Cotto, it should be noted that by the time Cotto made his debut in the welterweight division, Mayweather had already captured the lineal welterweight title and was beginning negotiations for his money fight with Oscar De la Hoya. If Arum had wanted to force a fight between his guys and then-WBC champ, Mayweather, he could've easily done so by positioning Margarito, Cotto, and Clottey within the rankings of the organization (any division expect the WBC)

@mattyrich76 I stated that it was Oscars town, and the judges were obvious blind judges who saw a fight that real boxing fans didn't see. When was Delahoya in the fight? What did he do that was so substantial that night to Floyd? What big punches did he land against Floyd continuously?

In August of 2008, upon the 3rd announcement of Floyd Mayweather Jr's retirement last June 2008 here were the top 10 Welterweight ranking: Take note: On March 15, 2008 Manny Pacquiao fought J.M. Marquez at 130 lbs and in June 28, 2008 Pacquiao fought David Diaz at 135 lbs. 1,) Antonio Margarito (WBA) 2.) Miguel Cotto 3.) Paul Williams (WBO) 4.) Shane Mosley 5.) Joshua Clottey (IBF) 6.) Carlos Quintana 7.) Kermit Cintron 8.) Andre Berto (WBC) 9.) Luis Collazo 10.) Jackson Bonsu Remember that Pacquiao fought 4 out of the TOP 5 Welterweights during this August 2008 ranking. He fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. Pacquiao is the smallest among all these welterweight fighters and started pro at 98 lbs and become a Lineal + WBC champion at 112 lbs. Pacquiao is fighting outside his comfort zones unlike Mayweather. Fact is all of Pacquiao's 8 division title championships were all held outside his country. While Mayweather Jr, announces retirements for several times. 1st was after the A. Gatti fight, 2nd was after the Dela Hoya fight (he refuse to rematch Dela Hoya), 3rd was June 2008 (after the Hatton fight), 4th was after A. Berto fight, 5th after the C. McGregor fight (an MMA fighter with ZERO Boxing record). For large portions of his illustrious career, Mayweather was a master of timing, both in and out of the ring. Despite his vast repertoire of skills, “Money” was a master at stacking the odds in his favour (It Means CAREFULLY SELECTED His Opponents) whether it meant dragging Ricky Hatton and Juan Manuel Marquez up to 147lbs (the MARQUEZ Fight was at 144 lbs Catch Weight BUT Mayweather weighed 146 lbs and paid $700, 000 fine) or telling Canelo Alvarez that he couldn’t weigh more than 152lbs CATCH WEIGHT despite the super-welter limit being 2lbs heavier (this was a WBC / WBA UNIFICATION fight). FACTS about Mayweather: 2008 = NO fight 2009 = 1 fight against a 135 lbs Marquez in a Catch Weight of 144 lbs BUT he weighed 146 and paid $700,000 penalty. 2010 = 1 fight 2011 = 1 fight (a SUCKER punch KO win against V. Ortiz). 2012 = 1 fight 2016 = NO fight 2017 = 1 fight against C. McGregor (an MMA fighter with ZERO Boxing record). 2019 = 1 Exhibition fight against a 21 yo, BANTAMWEIGHT, Kickboxer from Japan. 2021 = scheduled to fight against a KZfaqR. Additional FACTS about Mayweather: "Legacy won't feed your children, Currency does", says Mayweather Jr. "This fight with a KZfaqr is a Legalized Bank Robberies", says Mayweather Jr. "I'm a Scared Coward, am RICH Scared COWARD", says Floyd Mayweather Jr. Floyd announces retirements for FIVE (5) times, he's clearly avoiding fighters that threatens his career. He CAREFULLY Selected his opponents that would preserved his ZERO (0). FACTS: His 1st retirement announcement after the A. Gatti fight. 2nd retirement after the Dela Hoya fight (he declined to rematch Oscar). 3rd retirement after the R. Hatton fight (2 weeks before the Pacquiao vs Diaz fight). 4th retirement after the A. Berto fight. 5th retirement after the circus fight against an MMA with Zero boxing record McGregor. Take note: Floyd Jr during his post fight press conference against a Pokemon KZfaqr says once again that he's TBE, the best ever. While Pacquiao at 42 yo, is scheduled to fight on August 21, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV against the undefeated / unified WBC & IBF 147lbs champion E. Spence an eleven years younger. Spence is much bigger, heavier, taller, has longer reach. Spence Jr is the current # 1 Welterweight plus the # 5 best Pound for Pound in the ranking as of June 14, 2021. Important FACTs: Pacquiao started pro at 106 lbs, become the 'Lineal' champion at 112 lbs at age of 19 way back 1998. Moves up in bunch of weight classes, wins multiple titles including 'Lineal', then become the 'Lineal champion at 147 lbs by defeating Bradley way back 2016 at age of 37. Now at 42, he's fighting once again for the 'Lineal' 147 lbs title plus The Ring and WBA, WBC, IBF belts. Whoever reads this, may the Lord God in heaven bless you and your family 🙏😇 Pagpalain nawa kayo ng ating Panginoong Diyos 🙏 😇 Ang gugma ug kalinaw sa Ginoo maanaa ka ninyo 🙏 😇

@Lost LaCream Why? Either they can't read same as Floyd Jr. or they won't accept/admit the facts/truth. Manny is greater than Floyd Jr. and M. Ali. Why? Because Manny did an EXTRAORDINARY feat that Floyd and Ali didn't. No one in history of boxing that a fighter become a 'LINEAL' champion at 112 lbs vs C. Sasakul (at age of 19) then moved up in multiple weight classes, win 'LINEAL' titles in between , and then become a 'LINEAL' champion at 147 lbs vs T. Bradley (at age of 37). Pacquiao a 5'6" tall, started at 106 lbs FILIPINO fighting away his comfort and won ALL his 8 weight div. championships OUTSIDE the Philippines including his win vs K. Thurman (at age of 40). At age of 42, Pacquiao still fighting and scheduled to fight the #1 welterweight, the #5 Pound for Pound, bigger, taller, heavier, longer reach, 11 years younger, unified and undefeated in Spence. When we're talking about Pound for Pound greatest fighter or warrior who ever lived we are talking about the fighters/warriors 'ENTIRE' career. The 'ENTIRE' accomplishments. Being undefeated doesn't mean you're the Greatest. Losing is part of the sport. The greats Ray Robinson has 19 losses, Henry Armstrong has 21 losses, Ali has 5 losses, Duran has 16 losses, Archie Moore has 23 losses and they're on list of top 1-10 Greatest Of All Time.
