GOOD a real boxer speaks. Low key, Bill doesn't like the fact Haney looked up to Floyd. That usually hits a father's soul when your kid looks up to another man that more successful. For all you fathers out there, go listen to Bill and Floyd argue. Bill made it clear he wants and deserves praise from his son. In which Bill might've made the ultimate sacrifice by keeping his son active in the fight game. But let's not discount a young Haney in Floyd's gym setting the tone for his career. That creates a blueprint and and template right off the bat seeing your idol and him teaching you. . Bill stepped out of character to try and check Floyd. Bill made it a point to challenge Floyd's street cred. In which most black men when our backs against the wall, we resort to referencing our street cred. Surprisingly, the man of reason was Floyd. He mentioned he is not only successful in the ring but in life as well. Bill referenced the streets as if the streets are something to brag about when a lot of us look foolish past 40 claiming the streets in the first place. Let's not forget, Bill's promotional rant gone wrong is the whole dilemma. It's bad that Devin got smashed, but the antics of Bill is what everyone is going in on.
