I'm met the great black mamba at an amateur boxing show he never wasted any time he gave my boxer a lot of great advice and he gave me a lot of great advice and he took my kid in the ring and hit the pads with him until they were both dripping in sweat it just shows you this man was not for the money he was For the Love of the Game! rest up champion✊... that experience my student had with Rodger really changed his career and he went on a long winning spree after that thanks again champ

Roger was far and away the best and reinvented the art of the pads. Even after Sr took over the corner, Roger still worked the pads with Floyd. RIP

Floyd is like fury. Boxing wisdom beats talent all of the time. Having deep rooted foundations in boxing is important. There have been boxers that are exceptions to that rule, but going unbeaten is an art.

Strange but so true, presently I’m 59yrs, not a fan of any sport the first time seeing Floyd fight was Manny P. And for the first time I saw his uncle Roger fight was within the last couple hrs. I watched 3 fights Great guy and fighter a real man as from what I’ve seen all the Mayweatherss are; saying that R.IP. Uncle Roger. Floyd mentioned his best friend and wife Earl and Stephanie I had the pleasure of meeting and being in their company on 5 different occasions at my daughters house here in Sacramento for hours and one of those times all day up in the mountains, meek brother humble as was his wife . The brother was good, I had no idea he knew Floyd and never knew I was amongst famous people I respected the man and couple and I still to condolences to the family.

Pretty boy floyd had what took to be a boxing great not just skills but the top 2 inches...his mind no one could out think him in the ring. I heard a boxing commentator say one time it's like he was born in the ring. He looked so comfortable in the ring. What a fighter...what great business man too
