When you put your everything into something and finally get validation..this what it looks like, salute to you Floyd 🐐

I was never into his fighting style but this man has accomplished so much and did so much for the sport I can’t help but feel what he’s feeling. Floyd worked his ass off to get where he’s at and all the hate he gets is from people who think boxing is one dimensional. Floyd made boxing bigger. Put some respect on the man’s name. This is coming from a Mexican. Don’t let the ignorant boxing fans fool y’all. Floyd is a Boxing Hall of Famer and deserves all the respect for becoming one of the best in boxing of his time.

The man lost his favorite cut man Rafael Garcia, then a year later he lost his Grandma Bernice, then a year later he lost Josie, the Mother of 3 of his children and then only 7 days after he lost her, he lost his Uncle Roger. Floyd’s had a rough past few years and he gave his life to the sport of boxing. It’s time that he gets his flowers that he has deserved. He worked harder than anyone else in the sport of boxing and he earned the right to be treated better in the boxing industry. He’s so emotional here probably because he wishes all those people could be there that night but also because he feels like he’s finally getting some of the recognition he’s deserved for so long. TBE 50-0 TMT TMG

The first time I saw Floyd was when he was fighting De La Hoya. I was a kid then, but I was amazed at how agile, fast and charismatic this boxer is. I live in Russia. And when Floyd fought Hatton, I was rooting very hard for Floyd because I hated Hatton for beating Tszyu. And when Floyd defeated Hatton, a commentator on Russian television said: "It's impossible to beat the talent! And he was right. Floyd retired from boxing as the undefeated king, the best in history.

At the beginning of his career, I wasn't a fan, didn't come across as a humble person. Always thought he was a great fighter but his personality was in the way of me being a fan. Over these last few years and actually reading and watching about him I realized that there was so much more to him. Today I'm a huge fan spent the last year watching all his fights. Under that personality there is a man that dedicated his entire life to his sport, his approach and personality was a mind set and a necessary to become the champion he is. Today I actually admire him, my entire opinion of the has has changed. He was easy not to like he made it easy. It was a challenge to learn to appreciate him. Once I did it became hard not to like him. He is a absolute legend, his sacrifices he made to be the champion he is/was is hard to imagine. His entire life he committed to be the best, he did something 99.99 percent of us couldn't or wouldn't do. It's inspiring, simply amazing! Congratulations Floyd! You deserve this, you earned it! Thank you for the many great fights thank you for the inspiration, thank you for bringing other great fighters behind you. God bless you, God bless your family, God bless your gym and fighters. I am happy for him. He did it his way. Regardless of what people think of his lifestyle outside the ring, he was always a true professional in that ring. He also respected other fighters inside the ring as a person with family. He didn’t try to be brutal in the ring doing only that which he knew would get him the win. That is all he needed to do. He always said at the end of a fight he wanted his opponent to be able to go home to their family. Much respect to him. Congratulations Floyd.
@christianbozwell49812 жыл бұрын
What lifestyle?
@Oxygen2572 жыл бұрын
@@christianbozwell4981 I think you know Floyd was always being bashed by people and the media for being flamboyant, and flashing large amounts of money, showing off his gambling and showing how much money he has. That is what I meant by lifestyle outside the ring. People didn’t like him for that. I don’t know how many times I have read or heard people talk about that even in the barbershop they would praise him as a boxer, but then always talk against him about his flamboyant style whenever his name came up. I guess they wanted him to take a more humble approach. For me though, I could care less. He earned it. Worked hard for it and could live however he wanted to and do whatever he wanted with his money including showing it off. I also think he only did that when the cameras were on to purposely get under the skin of those people who did not like it. And besides, who gave anyone the right to want to dictate how another should treat and spend their money and live their life? I do know he gave to his family, friends, and helped many other people through organizations and charities, but the mainstream media never showed that and a lot of people don’t know or talk about that. Only the flash.
