Floyd's ability to make every question about him is truly a work of art. He does it so fluidly too. Interviewer asked him about the Errol Spence and Crawford and he gradually started talking about when he boxed Errol at 35 and Canelo at 36. I didn't catch on at first then was like this does not pertain to the original question.

A fans perspective is different as fighters perspective, i heard when you reach that level it's more of a business. It takes alot of work to reach mount rushmore, alot of sacrifice and punishment so it's just wise to aim to earn more when you're there. Sad for the fans because we did not see them fight in their prime though

It's a matter on what you focus on, right? There is money and then there are skills and Floyd had both along with smart timing and management. He was also one helluva promoter of his fights. He knew what to say and when to say it, extremely confident, smart, engaging and entertaining. He was 3 steps ahead of his opponents, knew exactly where he wanted to be and never in a position of disadvantage in or out of the ring. Impeccable defense, speed and could light you up as Pretty Boy or Money Mayweather. The epitome of hit and not get hit. He trained like a madman and could do it all. All the special effects, inside, outside, check hooks, body work, granite chin. One of the greats in his or any era. And if you don't know he will tell you himself. As if Floyd gives a shite what ppl say about him or his analysis of a fight. Guys got too much ego & cant keep up with hype fighting in circus shows

Talking to Floyd is like calling to speak to a live representative and having the automated voice messaging system loop you around over and over again then topped off with a sprinkle of elevator music during wait time 😂

Interesting to get Floyds views on current fighters as he was able to pick apart all the great fighters he defeated.in regards to Spence I hope he doesn't take the rematch and instead preserves his health.He has already achieved plenty.

What yall clearly missed is that Floyd just made it clear Errol was a drained fighter in this interview when saying he should be fighting at 60 or 68. While all yall heard was him talk about himself, he did it without making an excuse for Errol or putting down Crawfords win. Says everything about ppl who said Errol didn't look the same which was clear as day 😂😂

he will never look the same fighting Bud at 147 or 154. Bud struggles making 147 he looked more drained and dried out than errol at the weigh in. Errol style will never beat bud even if they fought 10 times. I like Errol also but drained was not the reason he lost
@kenblackwood

@@Flamethrow11 naw your absolutely right drained ain't the reason he lost, but it was the reason he was 2 or 3 steps slower with lack of balance and timing
@Flamethrow11
@Flamethrow11 9 ай бұрын
@@kenblackwood His timing was off because Bud took away his jab which he usually uses vs others to get his timing. Errol said in post fight "he a strong dude" which he couldnt push around plus the early knockdown is why balance was off. I like Errol but i think he should move on because its not a good matchup

He's also implying yhe result doesn't change at 54, the weight drain wasn't the reason spence was so off, but youre forgetting floyd owns part of PBC spence is PBC, that's his guy ultimately. Even though he prefers crawford as a fighter which spence was jealous off. All of spence idols prefer crawford, they didn't believe he could beat spence. Which got Spence annoyed. Don't take too much into what floyd is saying. Spence is his guy from a business point of view, so he has to protect him. Floyd knows ESJ stylistically would struggle. Now as you see Crawford is getting to pick his opponents somewhat, It'll be Charlo I assume and if not chatlo I see him fighting Spence again and fighting Tsyzu then retiring.
