Hi, I'm Max (@nervzofficial) and I run FL Studio Tips.
Today I will show you a tutorial on the most powerful and the most underrated plugin of FL Studio & How to use Patcher.
I've split this video into 3 levels. First where it works exactly the same as in the mixer channel. Second where you can manipulate the wet and dry signal separately. And the third level where you can make your own plugins as it would be a programming tool or a Minecraft game - as building cities or kingdoms.
Also, we discover that patcher can be used as an instrument and have layered an infinite amount of instruments and treat all of them individually - which changes the game completely.
As a music producer in FL Studio 20 you can use it to save a lot of time, and help your creativity and workflow. Basically everything you need to know about patcher plugin in FL.

I've been using FL for more than 20 years. Did a lot of experimenting and playing around in the beginning, but you quickly find some routines that works and gets the job done. Just recently discovered patcher and boy, is that a gamechanger. It makes a lot of what I used to do much easier. This is a great overview and tutorial and at the same time shows an easy way to sidechained reverb. Nice job !

That's incredible. Didn't know the sidechain could be achieved, especially the sidechaining of the reverb + the EQing.. with the mixer it was too difficult and time consuming to achieve that. Thanks so much this detailed tutorial. Also the comparison with Minecraft is awesome 😊

@@simstudiosofficial yes cuz I been using Daws since the days of FL3, Cakewalk, Nuendo, Cubase, Reason & Protools. Each has its own sound color but I find FL a lot user friendly especially for beginners.

Wow it looks really interesting, kind of remind me of Reaktor's rack(?) system which allows to build some kind of stuff. But here it looks really easy to work with. I've been dealing with Mixcraft for 8 years but when I see that kind of stuff... it makes me want to check FL.

I can remember how I went crazy for first time when I just randomly opened up one of the presets and clicked the map button..like WOAH! The formula controller is one of the most powerful patcher featuers. I used it to make an audio triggered ducker/sidechain, because you can use conditionals to detect the transient of the kicks
