Just imagine in what kind of world we could live in, if people just worked together instead of killing eachother.

Thought provoking fact: In the early 1980’s, the US Military repainted most of their trucks and tanks from OD green to desert tan. I’m guessing they knew we were done fighting in the trees for a while and were going to fight in the deserts ‘somewhere’. Now, we’re changing many of the vehicles from desert tan to OD green again. Weird.

Having been a Ro/Ro engineer during the Desert Shield operation, I'm still fascinated by these tremendous endeavors. I remembered, once the ships master received the orders, the vessel discharged all the containers on the nearest port and the ship sailed empty to load war materials to the assigned port, and back for more.

The handling of logistics for the 1944 D-Day invasion was nothing short of mind boggling. Continuous improvements & adaptation to current & future situations is imperatively important. 🇺🇸👍

As a table-top exercise, I would love to see today's logistics applied to June 6, as applied to materiel movement only. We'll gain some efficiencies, but how much would actually be changed?

@@joeyjamison5772 Yes...the quote comes from Napoleon...but in the end it did not do him any good. Fortunately...otherwise Europe would certainly be speaking french and there would be frog legs and grilled snails for dinner. And i hate frog legs and snails.

One of the RoRo ships, the Nedlloyd Rosario that I sailed on as a sailor in 1980 under the Dutch flag, was sold to the United States Maritime Administration in 1995. The ship has been renamed Cape Kennedy and is still in active service in the National Defense Reserve Fleet.

You should give back all the ships used to transport american military equipment back to China. Surely it is a security concern.

russia can't even keep a 40 mile convoy supplied with enough fuel to reach their target! Incredible to see the mammoth job they have. These folks do NOT get the respect and gratitude they deserve! If you are a part of this world, thank you. The amount of tonnage they carry is insane. Nobody can compare or compete with this. Pretty awesome to see.

My biggest worry is where the hell are we sending this equipment? The Somali pirates already stole our Navy ships, aircraft and white bodies of our soldiers. Are they stealing everything on that ship and delivering it to Africa? They sent the new Space Force to Africa and the soldier's bodies were taken over by the blacks and replaced with black witchcraft reinsertion physical bodies with black spirits and the white souls would have been sacrificed guaranteed. They then sent them to Europe. How convenient to keep them away from their home families who would notice the personality differences. The Africans have taken over our military bases and this country. They come via electric frequency metal spirits and take over the white bodies of our soldiers. They are stealing us blind. Sincerely Prime Creator
