the one time we know they changed the key of a song (그대로예요), they changed it to a HIGHER range 😂 what i find even more amazing about that is, they didn’t change it with the intention to impress, to boast they can sing high notes; they changed it because simply, it fit eunkwang’s vocal range better. stanning other groups before, i’ve heard producers say stuff like they feel reassured because of specific members. but with btob, producers probably never need to feel anxious at all! it’s probably pretty easy working with btob, possibly even fun! perhaps the only challenging thing about working with such a group is, how to utilize the skill of each member within a 3-4min song!

I hope the fandom someday will hype Sungjae’s vocals in social medias and requests like they do the rest of the vocal line. Even inside the fandom he is so underrated 😢

I thought I'm the only one who think like that. Sungjae's vocals are underhyped by many. Most KZfaq's reactor (especially nonfans and new fans) don't overhype Sungjae's vocals as much as his hyungs.

@@mahajoe right? I see alot of memes and visual posts/comments from the fandom but you very rarely see posts praising his vocals or him singing alone or in KZfaq comments. Once in awhile you still see comments from the melodys calling him sub vocal or saying he’s sub-vocal to encourage ppl to check out the whole group..like that statement was ancient..ek even said they’re main vocals…Anyways I love all of them but it’s sad to see.

I think we just need more people like @fluffyball to do more of this kind videos. And with btob, although sungjae is a strong vocalist the other 3 has better technique than him that is why he is not highligted much. Sungjaes and changsub have the best tone among them, eungkwang’s technique is the best and hyunsiks range is amazing… But when sungjae joins singing contest or any shows he shines on his own because his voice is full of emotion and his charisma as an actor is showing. What btob needs are younger melodies that knows how to compile videos. If only i am still young and experts in computer i would have time to make this videos.. Does this mean that melodies are old and quiet? 😂 i’m almost 40 and have loved all of them since 2018 thru sungjae… I don’t have biased anymore. Just love all of them..

Other commenters already said the reason but I just want to add that due to Sungjae's packed schedule with drama, variety show and advertisement, so he rarely comes out on music-related program thus why it's hard to hear professionals feedback on his singing. Even when he went on singing show, the panelists will focus more on his handsome face, popularity etc so the only time I heard genuine feedback on his skills is from BTOB members itself. But I agree that more effort need to be done to promote and highlight Sungjae's vocal since he improved so much. I will try to look if there's anything I can do about that.

If you feel that Sungjae's vocals are underestimated. Watch the funtastic duo. On the show gummy (senior female singer) really admired sungjae's vocals. Even in that program, Sungjae won with Gummy

As a music producer(in korea), trust me a lot of Koreans who work in the music industry know and are impressed by how good BTOB's vocal line is. I don't consider myself a fan but i really love BTOB songs. It's also kinda sad that the vocal line overshadowed the rap line. I've heard(in my workplace) a lot of compliments about BTOB vocals but only a few about the rap.

it feels so good to see our talented beats getting recognized day by day they are still underrated fr but slowly and surely going more into the spotlight cause these guys that I stan are real talent BTOB sells emotions not albums also a word of advice: Go buy their concert, fanmeet tickets and listen to them live, it's just breathtaking frfr

Some could say its easy to sing in harmony, but no, either you have to listen then practice an effing lot of times with partners and or you just have the talent+experiences. But BtoB, they're wonderful once in a generation case of both

I remember someone asked Eunkwang during a broadcast on how to harmonize, Eunkwang answered that his experience in church choir helped him identify different range of voices (soprano, tenor, alto, etc) and their places in a harmony. He said that he felt lucky to acquire such knowledge from a young age

We all know how good BTOB is when it comes to vocals. Many other artists and vocal experts know that,too. Those who keep bashing are either haters whose idols aren't as good enough or people who just are in denial coz they can't face the truth that these weird & funny, not so young guys who have been here for 11 years are just so good individually and as a group and they just keep on getting better. 😊

BTOB vocals are under appreciated by other people outside Korea, but when it comes to people in the industry and general people in Korea BTOB is mainly known because of their vocals. I'm a proud Melody💙✨

when i started to know BTOB I really liked their songs, but as I continued to know them, I found some videos praising their techniques and I felt very proud and dive in more to the melody world and never came back. they are always praised as good singers, not only idols. I am very proud melody.

This video was really satisfying to watch . BTOB vocals are truly the best. I stan a lot of groups but my melody heart cries when i think of how perfect their voclas are and yet they are underrated. Of course they are popular. But underrated in the sense that, they deserve wayyyyy more love and attention. So many people sleep on them. So thanks for making this video. I hope millions of people watch it

Dari semua itu, aku.. Sebagai orang yang mengangumi vocal semua member BTOB, akhirnya tahu bahwa bukan telingaku yang bermasalah tapi ada hati seseorang yang bermasalah 😊

Kalau ngomongin vokal harusnya masukin juga pas sungjae di funtastic duo, disitu lawan nya berat loh, ada son junho (aktor musikal), ada rose blackpink. Bahkan lawan gummy (Yang Hee-Eun) ajah nyaranin gummy buat pilih sungjae buat duet terakhir gummy. Dan akhirnya gummy dan sungjae juara di episode itu

Ok mmh I’m very surprised about the first clip. How is it possible that they need to polish every single word? That means the singer can’t sing!! I’m thinking about good singers like Mariah Carey, it’s impossible that they change her recorded voice, she sounds (or at least used to) incredible live, so her voice is already good as it is so I guess they’re surprised because there aren’t many good singers out there, which is sad 😂 I mean, I believe that a singer should be good at singing, like Changsub, it shouldn’t surprise people…

The word he used at that part is 일반 which means ordinary people. So he didn't refer to real singer bcs after that he actually gave example of Park Myung-Soo which is a comedian who also sings. What he means is even for singer, it's not easy to make only 2 mistake (out of tune) during the entire recording process.

Lagu-lagunya BTOB itu kayak gampang dinyanyiin tapi ga segampang itu, vocal line-nya punya ciri khas masing2 dan bisa harmonisasi cantik + Minhyuk (dulu ada ilhoon), Peniel pun juga bisa harmoniin ... tapi klo ditanya paling suka vokalnya siapa Hyunsik sih range vokal dia besar banget, Changsub tone-nya bikin tenang
