When I was working as an English tutor before, I had three students who are Melody, a Melodude and a multi-fandom. They told me how popular BTOB is in SK. The multi said the only reason why it doesn't seem like it, at least in the international point of view, is because the Melodies are the quiet type of fandom. They don't engage in fan wars, they are well-behaved in Gayos and they don't create too much noise as a show of respect to the artists and other fandoms. They said most of the newbie groups claims they want to be like BTOB especially when it comes to talent, performance and the way they command respect from their hoobaes and other artists without even asking for them. From what they told me, it seems that BTOB is in the top list of artists who are idolized not mainly for popularity, but mostly on talent.

And the fact that they really deliver when they are on a show for me is one of the reasons they are so wanted. I mean, when they are on music inclined show they shine with their talents and when thy go to varities they are just soo funny. They really dont care about the rule of idols trying to keep their images clean. They are hilarious.

BTOB is indeed really famous in South Kores. Especially after their song: Missing you. I remember one day I was in the festival concert in SK and BTOB sang that song. Every fandom sang it together in accapella... IT WAS SOOOOO MAGICAL AND SATISFYING.

BTOB in 2022 is almost everywhere 🤣 they really went all out this year for all the time that have been missing 💙

BTOB is a group that is always going to have a large number of fans. From their personalities to their overwhelming talents. You can't help but want to give BTOB the worlds best.

Thank you! I became a melody this year because I fell for their songs and because I saw how peaceful the fandom is! Honestly, there is a reason why they're huge in SK! They are talented, funny and incredible humble for a group going strong after a decade!

I'm 50yrs old and love the boys , I've adopted sungjea as my son lol and I'm always telling him momma loves you. Momma is so proud of you my Korean son ...nobody can say anything bad about these boys to me , I'm so happy for them that they'll be going to France hopefully they'll do a concert here in the UK soon !

I know all this as a Melody, but their popularity still amazes me. I find it fascinating that in almost every single show BTOB members have been to in 2022 there's been at least one host/writer/pd/editor that's been a Melody. (I just saw an article that said they're one of the artists with the biggest schedules in 2022, since they've been on TONS of shows individually and in pairs/groups and have several own shows this year). Minhyuk and Hyunsik have been interviewing idols and other artists in their shows/radios, that have talked about how they are fans of BTOB. Changsub has in his show Jeongwaja come across several Melodies. In all the shows they've been to you can hear the staff laughing and adoring them. I'm so glad that they are so loved in their country. I hope they travel and perform in other countries too and feel the love from the rest of us, outside of Korea. When they were in Chicago and Jakarta this year, that was amazing, I need Cube to promote them (for once) and protect them at all costs!!

Tbh i’m really really glad i found btob back in 2016 and i still here with other melodies grow stronger 🥺 Non-kpopers in my country barely know btob but when someone or two knows btob i was so thrilled (Even i influenced my bf bout btob he’s not a fan but one time he just unconsciously humming btob’s song while gaming and the other person be like “dude what song is that”)

So glad that BTOB is finally actively starting to have global promotions and activities so that more people in the world can know about them!!!

I'm sure because BTOB has a very specific image they want to keep for each of the members so it makes it hard for them to just accept everything that comes their way which in turn makes them worth more and are more sought after. I hope they stay a group and still are able to do their solo activities for a very long time to come!

I was so excited when BtoB is about to appear on running man. I always wanted them to go out with full members since Minhyuk solo appearance. Now, even after Kwangsoo left, we couldn't get to see them. My wish is remain the same as Hyunsik composed song, Someday

I saw this vid right after I saw Minhyuk on Arena Homme. Two weeks ago he was on Sungbo Editor, promoting cosmetics. Him alone endorsed various products, and also being a photo model for magazines. And don't start on other members with their own activities coz that would be one helluva long list to produce!

Be famous in South Korea is a freaking hard challenge. And thats why I respect them. No offense to anyone with that. I still a old school kpop fan. Huge popularity outside their country its means nothing to me. I love quality tho.

The first time I heard them, I was hooked on the voices and songs they sing. Lately many people on this platform react to their videos and presentations, which little by little pocisiona them to an internationally known group. But the talent is there and they are well admired and respected by new groups. And they even continue to surprise other groups with their voices and their way of conducting themselves in the medium. I adore them.

BTOB both have talent and great personality (comedic, kind, respectful, and humble) that's why they are huge in SK. If only Cube's marketing team do a better job at putting the boys the spotlight they need to catch the attention of the global market, BTOB will surely surprise every single soul.

Yeah, international fans besides Japan and stuff don’t realize how popular BTOB actually is. In SK, they are as popular as EXO, SEVENTEEN, and BTS. They just didn’t get as popular internationally because..well, international fans just look at looks instead of talent. Not saying EXO and BTS don’t have talent. They do, and they are on the same platform as BTOB, but BTOB was only missing visuals and so they got overlooked

Their fame isnt based on the fandom (though K-Melodies are pretty much prominent alrdy, maybe not so much in quantity but by quality they're pretty famous for being well-behaved that even BTOB themselves can easily rein them in & act properly) alone but public recognition has been their biggest factor w/c is saying a lot. Leaving a fandom is easier than everyone thinks it is so imagine pouring those investment in ppl that may leave anytime instead of cementing your image not only to your fans but also to a larger and more diverse crowd. Also, doing such is harder than gaining avid fandom followers, a good advertising + catering to music of your target audience can easily gain you a larger fandom but BTOB has been making music for various audiences therefore even though not a lot would stan them but with the variety of their music, a lot mustve stumbled upon their music & liked it. Also, this has stemmed from the time when btob decided to depend more on their self-produced music. Btob might say they are producing music that they want to sing but they hit the nail by also producing music that diff kinds of ppl may wanna hear.

BtoB ( besides being amanzigly talented in composing, singing etc etc ), is always so funny. Part of which is because they are so relaxed. They just do what they want to do. If they make a mistake...they just laugh about it, and we melodies laugh with them. Each member has their own shine but they blend so well together. The years of experiende are shown in each activity they do.
