It's part of his brilliance really. Especially since most comedians who are as good at impressions as him tend to be only good at that, but he'd be funny even if he was incapable of nailing accents so well.

I've never been to Hawaii (yet), but that sounds like a Luau Experience from Disney. And not a Lilo and Stitch Inspired Luau Expereince, because at least everything in that experience would make sense. I'm going this August for the first. Was looking at things to do and thought of this bit.

Right on. Drove a bus in 50 for several years. One of my funny story was informing the tourist that at one time Parker Ranch was one of the largest ranch in the US. Several hundred acers of land was sold off bumped themselves into second. So I asked if anyone knew what's the largest ranch now. After a few seconds later with no replies I informed them it was Hidden Valley Ranch.

His accents are brilliant. And "Hawaiian time" is basically "Polynesian time". No matter where you are in the Pacific - Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Cook Islands, Tahiti, even New Zealand - you'll find it to a greater or lesser extent. And at a guess, I'm pretty sure anyone from the Caribbean would say the same. It seems the warmer a place is, the slower and more relaxed things get. Something Northern Hemisphere tourists should make an effort to understand; the holiday will go much smoother! 😆

I love that Hawaiians are Still like this! Never stop bein chill, wonderful people. People are SO uptight sometimes. One time, I was gonna meet some dude and he wanted to know Exactly, when I’ll be there. I’m like, “Dude, this ain’t an interview or nothin. We’re hangin out as FRIENDS!” Jeez, luckily I just ditched that sour lime. I like to know when someone’s comin, but you Never Expect them to be there Exactly on time. They could be in traffic. People Everywhere need to have the Hawaiian lifestyle.

People in tropical countries are a lot Luke this regarding time (except in the big cities). Cold climate Europeans are so tight-assed about time (I.e. the Germans).

Yeah...sorry but no. I don't have a shit fit if someone's 30 seconds late but it's simply common courtesy to tell someone when you're going to arrive and to do so. To do otherwise is saying to others that you don't care about their time. Do you do that at work?
@LoriWolfcat

michelleprieur1 😹😹 This isn’t woooorrrkk! Haha jeez, you and stacey act like you can just teleport there instead of seeing reality. I’m sayin I told this dude around the time I would be there, but he wanted the exact time, like for example “I’ll be there around 12noon, but he wanted to know 11:55am? 12:01pm? You say you don’t have a fit, yet what if someone was a minute late? Haha jeez, if it’s for business, it makes sense, but if you’re Just hangin out, you ain’t gonna be there Exactly on time because it ain’t business. If you hang out, it’s about no stress. When hanging out, if someone says around 12noon, they mean exactly that. Plus or minus 5 minutes. You shouldn’t Actually arrive At 12noon. Jeez, do you go to parties on time too?

Michael Reisman Channel Haha well, I’m part German and I hate when people are so uptight with time. I like to get there early, but I don’t care if someone’s a little late. Especially since when people are near, that’s when they’re really supposed to tell you. I get if it’s because a movie, or something where time really matters, but Just hanging out? That’s just tightwads who wonder why they can’t find friends. 😹😹
