Yeah no it doesn't. It turns it into Call of Duty zombies mode. Easier to hit headshots and save ammo on here so by the end you have a huge stockpile and it turns into easy mode. The beauty of third person is you can see how close you were to getting wrecked and it's easier to miss your shots so the stress of being low on ammo is a factor too.

@@goodguyguan3412 and missing head shots that close is extremely unrealistic, in real life it would be at least 100x easier to shoot them in the head. For some reason they made point blank shooting seem challenging in this game.

People don't have to make their mind if the developers give them choice Red dead Redemption 2 did both same for GTA V next gen. The evil within 2 released an update at some-point which added first person in the game Fallout 4 does it. As for me if you want my opinion RE7 was weaker because of it and i think i would have liked it way better if it was third person like RE 2 remake. And i hope Capcom will give us choice in the futur because if stay First person for main entries like 8 for example i will stick to the remake. I have not interest in more first person horror.

But if you look at their gear it looks like a stylized version of the SOE Frog Rig or like the Eagle SOMAV types that were popular in the late 90s and early GWOT. 4 chest pouches, each holding a least 3 MP5 mags per pouch plus 1 in the gun, that’s a lot of 9x19 ammo.

Yeah in 4th and tofus I'd usually either kill them or juke their claw swipe, but sometimes rng tongue comes out to annoy me.

you can do this on the fly with reframework...consoles are so archaic, praying certain things become DLC that never will.

you can either blast it in its tentacle head with a magnum to stun it long enough, or chuck a grenade between the 2 to stun them long enough to slip past unscathed, its a good technique.

Easy just keep going until the second one emerges from the water then turn around and back off a little... The second one will miss his run towards you, while the one that is far away will start puking little Gs. In that exact same moment run past them by the right corner. If timed right you can pass through them without using anything. I can show how its done if needed

@@ZandatsuGaming That's good too, I was able to bypass these guys in the sewers on hardcore by baiting them into spawning their babies, and running past them while they did so, they can't cancel the animation in time to grab you, which can save you a grenade or a knife, good for no damage runs, if you're trying to save the grenades for the big zombie rooms or flashbanging Mr X.

Nah, first person mode couldn’t be that hard to implement as this mod shows but VR is a whole different story and besides according to rumors they are working on R3make already so they wont do it

@@TheRedc0met Except he's right, this mod, while possibly flawed due to not being Capcom themselves with more understanding of their engine, works effectively even in the first few moments of this gameplay. It makes aiming easier, and adds just enough tension that it would be worth playing even a regular playthrough in first person. Yes RE is not a first person franchise in any way officially in the older games, but it could be made really good given the right implementation. Also yes I know RE7 did it, and everyone hated that game, but 1st person here works much better from the looks of it. Which may just be due to RE2's tight knit story/gameplay in terms of getting you from one thing to the other.

i think first person makes aiming aukward as hell, unless it's around corners and doorways where the camera might otherwise get stuck, also gta 5 is a terrible example as it's something barely anyone ever uses (the fact that 99% of the vehicles dont have updated interiors that arent obviously fake flat textures, especially aircraft kind of ruined it, i wanted it mainly for shooting out the back seat of helicopters but you cant even see your gun). if the game isnt designed with first person in mind from the get go, it usually feels aukwardly tacked on as an afterthought. never knew people hated re7, but then again i guess the main reason it was praised was for being an actual horror game and not a shooty shooty co-op action thing like 5 and 6 (and 6 failed because it tried to be too many things at once). i loved re4 but 5 was meh, and 6 well i only played leon's portion and lost interest 5 minutes into chris's part.

easier?? it has less visions & you really need to focus more on your surroundings, especially running from Mr X or G Birkin. Although, I would agree that it's more "immersive" & easier to aim for controller user (well, no affecting much for PC players as they get to play with pinpoint accuracy of K+M)

Hands down best VR experience it was worth every penny just for that game alone and I wouldn't play it any other way after experiencing it like that!
