Ok guys I used a Syringe to suck the excess from the middle and it takes about 24hrs for these to dry..

I wish I had seen something like this a year ago! My sister absolutely loved butterflies, because her name (Vanessa) means butterfly... Sadly she passed away the end of September last year, at the age of 35. If I had known about this sooner, I would have tried to make her one for her birthday. *:-)*

Nadesda Hagges Yes I thought black two shades of purple or blue and a few dots of pink. I normally am not overly keen on cells but they really enhanced it.

What happens to all the paint that gathers in the middle. I tried doing one of these that was similar to this and it looked very cool wet, but a couple hours later the paint in the middle had settled and spread back out and ruined the picture. So I was wondering how you can avoid that?

Looks like they try to redistribute the paint near the end. But the syringe idea is a good one.

Another artist uses a syringe or a plastic spoon to pick up the excess paint, but this came out so much prettier with the cells.
