Flute Link Appears at Video Games Live

Flute Link appears as a special guest at the Video Games Live performance in Augusta, Georgia on September 25, 2009. Later she also participated in the Chrono Cross/Chrono Trigger segment, which was amazing, but I unfortunately ran out of memory on my camera...

I was totally there! It was a very pleasant surprise to find out Flute Link was playing. She did an excellent job. I think her Chrono Trigger/Cross performance was the best segment of the night. I got her autograph after the show, and she was really nice. What a great guest!

saw this last night at video games live. She was PHENOMINAL! And she can SING too! The World of Warcraft segment she did almost brought a tear to my eye.

I have the Navi that was on her shoulder, It was tossed into the audience, some guy got it. Later After the show, my friends and I were talking about the show, and the guy had the navi in his hand. Its so awesome XD. Nice to have a piece of Video Game Live History :D

No it's not.. It's literally the musical backbone for the rest of the series. The only things that don't really come from ALttP musically are the fairy fountain theme and the main theme. Everything else? A LINK TO THE PAST. GANON'S THEME? A LINK TO THE PAST. ZELDA'S LULLABY? A LINK TO THE PAST. KAKARIKO VILLAGE? A LINK TO THE PAST.

@blackmanfu Hi, the Navi part is a recording of Laura on piccolo ... she cant use the live musicians because of the need for timing etc and the music would be difficult for even a pro to pick up in a day ... which is the typical rehearsal time for these shows ... but Laura did physically PLAY the Navi/piccolo.

@Tiagnas its really short song, BTW its noise :) really fast, its exaclty the same in assassin's creed first one, when you have discovered a view point ... Just after the mario theme. I was there for 2010 version in paris and flute link appears too :)
