Flute: The 4 Dangers of a Smilie Embouchure

I want to show you how having too "smilie" a mouth when you play the flute leads to 4 particular problems:
- High notes become screechy and difficult.
- You'll be too sharp when you play.
- It makes your cheeks fatigue, making your playing worse.
- The tightness in your mouth makes other parts of your body tight too, which (badly) affects things like breathing, for example.
I made you this 5 minute video to DEMONSTRATE each of these 4 problems.
I have a feeling you will relate to at least one of them!

Ive bbeen taught to do a smiley embouchure on flute my my old band instructor, 3 years later im having alot of trouble with playing flute without airyness, and I didnt know it was a bad habit until this year, and i dont know how to fix it. Because i dont know how to make a small hole in my mouth on flute without having the smiley embouchure. :( can you help?
