As pointed out below, it's best you install riverpod_lint and riverpod_generator as dev dependencies. You can do this either by updating your pubspec OR when you run the command, add "-d" to the flutter pub add command. Thanks!

First of all, a major 'Thank you' for this tutorial. It is exactly what i was looking for regarding the codeGen in riverpod. Beeing in the early stage of using riverpod, seeing a lot of other tutorials sticking to the old way of building providers, felt inefficient after having read through the documentation.
