Thank-you both for putting this video together. I have been learning dart/flutter for several months now and have been dreading the time when I need to implement navigation. The core Flutter options terrified me due to their complexity! I have now reached the point when I can put this off no longer.... Luckily go_router looks simply awesome and having watched this intro I am now confident to tackle this aspect of my App and will be diving in right away. It was also great to see Chris 'in the flesh' - I was a fan of his 'Windows Forms Programming in C#' book back in the day. Wow have we come a long way since then!!

A kind suggestion Majid, when your guest talking, please avoid needless vocal responses like 'yes', 'ok', 'I see', 'right' etc. You can just nod at best, or simply mute your mic if only unmute when you have something to say. With the latency of voice transmission from your side to your guest, he/she pauses for a moment thinking your got something to say and that simply disrupts his/her flow. Thank you for this wonderful video, looking forward for me. You've earned a subscriber.

I have a question, QUESTION: Why use `state.subloc` e.g state.subloc == loginLoc instead of `state.location` e.g state.location == logicLoc when redirecting? why use subLoc? if loginLoc is not a `Subroute`?? loginLoc is a Top Level Route with no subroutes..

how to return and get data from screen 2 to screen 1 (previous screen) ?
@danielphil4976 Жыл бұрын
When you make a route like in the video, you want to make a specific route for the page you're trying to send data to So you'd do something like DataPageBuilder(Params) And you can make another route and still use the same DataPageBuilder(with different Params)
@maheshperi19 Жыл бұрын
@@danielphil4976 Thank you. Will try for it.
@danielphil4976 Жыл бұрын
@@maheshperi19 also it's best to store the data in a variable and update that variable when you move from screen 2 to 1 so then screen 1 will have an update too. You can use notify listeners
