In which Jon of Good Buddy Fly Fishing heads up to North Carolina to meet some friends for the annual Good Buddy trip. It was during the delayed harvest on the Nantahala.

That was my first time fishing the Nantahala. I have driven by it several times but now I wish I had stopped and fished it. Glad you enjoyed it.

@@GoodBuddyFlyFishing I was up in Boone this last fall, but my guided day on the water got rained out. A deluge! Of course, two days later it was beautiful, but wasn't able to fish. Ah well, I'll be back...

I bet you met Carson didn't you? I know he was just down there fishing for the competition. And, now that I hear you mention his name you did lol! Too funny, what are the odds. Jon, it was a pleasure to run into you on the Upper Nantahala last Thursday. Great to hear that you picked up some fish on the mop. Like you, Steve, and team we caught a ton of fish. Great fishing day rain or no rain. Had a great time competing over the weekend for the US Youth National Fly Fishing Championships and so honored to have been selected to be on the team for the 2021-2022 season. We got a lot of footage on the Nantahala, Davidson, and during the competition. Can't wait to get the videos posted on our KZfaq Channel.
