I remember watching this years ago. It made me fall in love with bass fishing. That perfect pop of the popper and then waiting for a big bass to explode on it is what makes it all worth it! Can't wait to get out there again!!

This is an A+ video and definitely one of the best videos on the internet showing the catch and release of beauty largemouth. The visual aspect of seeing any species of fish hit a topwater lure or fly is second to none. Topwaters are where its at !!!!! Oh and BTW.......awesome job on captivating all those amazing surface strikes.

I love places like that, with all the tall grasses and reeds. They just look like a monster could come up and smash your fly at any moment. Wonderful video.

You're making me jealous! I used to flyfish in Back Bay Virginia! Had an innertube float rig, caught 200 bass a day (catch and release)! What an incredible time that was, back in the 70's & early 80's, before I got married! Then I worked all the time! Miss it bad! Got the hankering to do some more. Flyfishing is truly an incredible way to catch some great bass and enjoy the outdoors much differently than fishing from a boat or the shore. Much more up close and personal.

When sight fishing I've found fly fishing much more effective than bass lures because they drop at a slower rate

All I can say is the location was high in the mountains somewhere in the Northwest. Actually quite a few of these spots throughout the Northwest, just have to look a bit.
