It’s clear stretch elastic cord for beading. You can buy it at michaels or any other craft store that sells beads for bracelet making. 1mm width.

There's also a material from UTC called 'Vinyl Rib' which comes in different colours and sizes. It has a flat side that touches the hook, and a round side, if that makes sense. 😄

I have both. I prefer the elastic. The vinyl rib doesn’t like to melt for the tie in. And isn’t as stretchy. Personally at least.
