A fantastic emerging mayfly pattern. This one has been taken some inspiration from the Kakahi Queen pattern but by adjusting the colors to what you need it can be tied to represent what ever you have flying around your local area. It represents a mayfly in its emerging stages and stuck in its shuck or in surface film of the water - either way trout look at it as an easy meal. Hopefully a pattern you all enjoy tying and enjoy fishing as well.
As a note I have tied this off between the hackle and the wing but it can also be tied behind the hook eye under the wing. Generally I prefer to tie it under the wing but both methods work well.
Happy Tying Everyone
