Outside of my BMPCC4K, the flycam basic flowline is my favorite piece of gear that I own. Its not perfect but for $400 It's an great option. Every shoot that I am on I bring this piece of gear with me. Also its 1/3 of the price of the eazyrig mini max. So here are my honest thoughts. Enjoy!

Good stuff. Had been looking at these and was looking for a decent one that wasn't like 700-plus as I don't have that much to put into it right now. Saw this on Amazon and then hit the youtubes for reviews on it. Seems like it will be good for me as I use a blackmagic 6k as well. Good vid, good to find more melanin with the folks I follow on here. Subbed.

Nice video bro. I have a question im looking to buy the flycam or easyrig, this one looks like a good fit to me, im new in the field i have a bmpcc 4k with a 35mm sirui anamorphic lens. Can i use this with the crane 2s? Or should i get the galaxy the chest vest arm?

Hey I'm interested in getting this. What is the waistline lens? I am a girthy guy. Waistline is 48 in but I know it will need to be a little bit bigger for it to be comfortable. So what is the waistline length?

Hey Justin great video . Just wanted to ask if the flycam helps with stable hand shooting . I ask this because some people say it's not a way of stabilizing your camera and some say it does. I want to get one as I did not like using a gimbal as I have the BMPCC4K and a Lumix S5 but want to use an easyrig with my S5 for extra smooth shots . Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for the video bro very informative.

Man this is a great question, it’s is not a stabilizer and doesn’t help with making footage more stable. It’s main purpose takes the weight off your arms and back. So if you have a heavy rig your body doesn’t hurt. If your gear is light you don’t really need one but if your rig is heavy or helps a ton with making it easy on your body when filming all day.

I’ve noticed that your camera retracts on the string/cable. How are you doing this? Where’s the extra slack? Do you adjust the string/cable depending on the gig? I’m working with the Flycam Flowline 500N
