Oh I've got plenty of ideas. MAME, every settings in RetroArch along with cores specific settings, Yuzu/Ryujixn, Citra, Drastic, Desmume, Mupen64Plus.

mah pointless tutorial, i like the original resolution with an accurate hdr crt shader...those texture and asset are not meant to be upscaled that high in most games.

@@warpedpolygon well, when you will cover Sega Genesis don't forget about MDapt and GDapt which finally eliminate dithering as it should be. Oh, and these death to pixels shaders

@@vitaliydubkov4008 thanks for that info, wasn't aware of these till now. Awesomeness! Yes, I'm not a shaders guy myself. I'd prefer straight up clean raw pixels, in most cases.

@@warpedpolygon well i prefer MDapt+ScaleFX shaders+MiyooMini CRT overlay. But to each it's own. MDapt doesn't damage the sharpness of pixels but eliminate these checkboards and vertical lines dithering (if you put vertical lines on 1 instead of deafult 0 in shaders settings) I think MDapt/GDapt awareness will help alot of Genesis fans to enjoy their games more, if they didn't know about them before.

For each game you need to check the rpcs3 wiki for best parameters. A bit tedious, but works great then ! RPCS3 is a fantastic piece of software 😮

D3D11 has better stability and compatibility on Windows in general for most emulators, due to it being around for a long time and devs having the most experience in it.

I have a problem in Soul River that I can't fix it, the doors and enemy moves like gelatina when I move the camera, I mean I'm in front a door and they move as I movr the camara I try all but nothing fix it.

I tried the upscaling video but the text in games like Soulcalibur still looks blurry even if the graphic themselves look great

What is the standalone emu for that system? WinAPE? I think the RA core is considered to be better...?

@@warpedpolygon To be more specific I'm trying to launch the games through Launchbox, without success :( I've tried Arnold, CPCEC and WinApe, I don't use RA, prefer standalone emus always :)

I wonder if you'll cover Sega Saturn emulation eventually. I tried emulating a game called "Deep Fear", but results were always really bad for me no matter what I attempted. Regardless, good video as always :)

Direct x doesn’t use the gpu though at least for me so i’m stuck using vulkan but it’s not that bad imo

Why on earth did you watch it knowing you prefer the OG CRT look? I think watching something you'll know you won't like is more pointless.

Vulkan is being well implemented in some cases, but as a working standard OpenGL and D3D11 are the most solid.

@@warpedpolygon If on a Windows machine with NVIDIA, I tend to prioritise D3D11/12 whenever possible, because it works better on that card too.
