Nope look at guys like Bobby Clarke, Mike Schmidt, and Ryan Howard. And Lindros could have only played for the flyers and he would still be considered a legend.

@@trelow315 You literally just proved by point with your list, with the exception of Clarke. Schmidt...absolutely hated by the media and most fans when he played. Now considered one of the greatest...after he retired. Howard...very similar to Schmidt, especially hated after winning championship. Lindros...made of glass, concussions may of been the final straw, but he never played a season without a major injury (knees, shoulder, collapsed lung). The definition of an enigma. You would have to be living under a rock to not remember the drama surrounding him year after year. Now Big E we love you. Clarke...brought 2 cups to Philly, always will be a legend because of it. Front office work...embarrassing. You forgot to mention Reggie White....Green Bay cemented his legendary status. Philadelphia sports...we hate you, but when you leave we didn't know what we had.

@@patientmental875 Yeah only over 1000 points. No big deal. And 2nd in franchise history in points and games and longest tenured captain in franchise history. Thats a great career. Just because you didnt win a cup doesnt mean it wasnt a great career. He'll go down as top 5 player in franchise history and one of greatest players from this era.

He was a UFA who requested a trade and there was only 1 team. its not like the Flyers let him go

@@Helmut-Von-Liechtenstein He didnt request a trade. He wanted to resign and retire a Flyer. But Fletcher made it clear he didnt want to resign him and wanted to move him.
