I started flying a Grumman and things got @JustPlaneSilly. We had a great time making this one, we hope you like it! Make sure to checkout some of the guys that helped us make it. OH and Bryan really didn't know we were making this. I just asked him to record that bit at the end. He didn't know what it was for. LOL

Back in the 80s, I did most of my private and instrument flying in Grumman cheetahs out of Houston Hobby . I grew to love Grumman aircraft. Took my commercial multi engine check ride in a cougar. Great vid!

Aviation humor tickles my funny bone, so thanks for this! Was the very real oil chocolate syrup? I would love to fly that plane some day, is there one with screen instrumentation? I find it easier to read the newer avionics. An example is the Cessna 172s with the screen avionics compared to the classic 172. Also, I'm glad you got to fly a Cirrus! I get the honor of flying the Cirrus SR22 for free every semester and it's a blast! Thanks for the video Bryan!

Careful Bryan, you might have missed a spot on that spinner! The "Turner" method of making sure you clean both sides... works for cleaning wheels too.

But the Grumman doesn’t have the “auto-land” option like BigErn’s Cirrus. Ask BigErn if you can fly his work airplane. I’ve never flown a Grumman Carl. How much you asking for it? Save me a seat on one of your next flights . Can you put a tailwheel on it? 😳 Drip pans are your friend. Seriously, we need to fly soon. Bring the Grumman and your cleanest polishing cloth.
